<p>Après la version dynamique <a aria-label="baptisée V-Series (s’ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)" href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/cadillac-presente-ses-nouvelles-ct4-v-et-ct5-v-et-leve-le-voile-sur-la-ct4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">baptisée V-Series</a> que l’on avait découvert au printemps, en même temps que sa grande sœur CT5 V-Series, c’est au tour de la gamme régulière de la Cadillac CT4 de se dévoiler, en attendant la future <a aria-label="CT4-V (s’ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)" href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/cadillac-ct4-et-ct5-v-series-lamericain-en-a-encore-sous-le-pied/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">CT4-V</a>, version de pointe destinée à remplacer la Cadillac ATS-V et à chercher des poux à la BMW M3. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cadillac CT4&nbsp;: un arrière-goût d’ATS</h2>



<p>Dans un monde qui ne jure plus que par les SUV, on est agréablement surpris de voir Cadillac proposer à ses clients 3 berlines&nbsp;: cette CT4, rivale des BMW Série 3 ou Mercedes Classe C, la <a aria-label="CT5 (s’ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)" href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/cadillac-ct5-lalternative-aux-allemandes-et-aux-suv/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">CT5</a>, de la gamme supérieure, ainsi que la CT6 qui vient tutoyer la BMW Série 7. La CT4 vient ainsi succéder à la berline ATS et l’on ne sait pas encore si le coupé ATS ou la version chinoise ATS-L à empattement long seront remplacés. </p>

<p>Et si Cadillac a pu se permettre de remplacer l’ATS dans un
marché déclinant, c’est au prix de nombreuses reconductions (ou <em>carry-over</em>).
Outre la plateforme, héritée de sa devancière (et partagée avec la Camaro ou la
CT5), la Cadillac CT4 reprend intégralement le vitrage, le toit, les doublures
de portes, les poignées de portes ou les rétroviseurs de sa devancière. Le
reste du véhicule est nouveau, y compris la planche de bord, les garnitures de
portes ou la carrosserie (hors toit, donc). Un très profond restylage,
comparable à celui opéré entre la Golf V et la Golf VI, en quelque sorte. </p>

<p>La CT4 devrait donc logiquement conserver l’habitabilité un
peu restreinte de sa devancière mais aussi ses excellentes qualités routières.
Esthétiquement, la parenté entre les deux voitures est indéniable mais la CT4
applique à sa face avant les codes actuels du style Cadillac en en faisant une
petite sœur de la CT5. De profil, la voiture se passe heureusement du
disgracieux enjoliveur de cette dernière pour afficher des lignes à la fois
plus tendues et plus classieuses que celles de sa grande sœur. A l’arrière, la
CT4 se distingue beaucoup de l’ATS avec des feux arrière mêlant la
traditionnelle verticalité de Cadillac avec les retours horizontaux des modèles
modernes.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deux typages, comme sur le Cadillac XT6</h2>



<p>Après avoir dévoilé la Cadillac <a aria-label="CT4 V-Series (s’ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)" href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/cadillac-presente-ses-nouvelles-ct4-v-et-ct5-v-et-leve-le-voile-sur-la-ct4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">CT4 V-Series</a>, son look sportif et son moteur 4 cylindres 2,7 l turbo de 324 ch (500 Nm de couple et BVA10) et en attendant la version qui -on l’espère- succèdera dignement à l’ATS-V et ses 470 ch (V6 biturbo 3,6 l), Cadillac nous présente la gamme standard de la CT4. Au programme&nbsp;: deux moteurs et deux typages.</p>

<p>Côté motorisation, la clientèle américaine pourra choisir opter
en entrée de gamme pour le 4 cylindres 2,0 l de 240 ch et 349 Nm, associé à une
BVA8 et disponible en propulsion ou intégrale. Au-dessus, se situe le 2,7 l
turbo de la version V-Series, dégonflé à 313 ch (471 Nm). </p>



<p>Deux typages seront proposés&nbsp;: Luxury et Premium Luxury
d’un côté, Sport de l’autre. Les deux premiers se distinguent par leurs chromes
et leur calandre spécifique. L’équipement de base comprend le système keyless,
la réduction de bruit active ou l’infotainment 8 pouces. Le modèle Premium
Luxury ajoute le cuir, des aides à la conduite et des décors en aluminium à
bord. La version Sport, curieusement indisponible avec le moteur 2,7 l (pour ne
pas faire d’ombre à la V-Series&nbsp;?) se passe de chromes, s’offre des jantes
de 18 pouces spécifiques et se dote de sièges semi-baquets et de palettes au
volant en magnésium. </p>

<p>Les tarifs américains de la Cadillac CT4 devraient débuter autour de 30 000 $ mais on ne sait pas encore quand et si elle sera importée en Europe, pas plus que l’on a d’information quant à l’arrivée de la CT5. En attendant, c’est <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/cadillac-xt4-il-debarque-enfin-en-europe-et-avec-une-surprise-sous-le-capot/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="le SUV compact XT4 (s’ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)">le SUV compact XT4</a> qui va enfin fouler le sol européen début 2020.
