<p><em>Après le Duster spécialement créé à l&rsquo;occasion de l&rsquo;ouverture </em><a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/dacia-un-plan-dinvestissement-de-100-million-deuros-en-roumanie-et-nouveau-siege-a-bucarest/"><strong><em>du nouveau centre de R&amp;D de Bucarest</em></strong></a><em>, ainsi que<a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/dacia-duster-black-collector-des-watts-et-du-collector/"> <strong>la version française dotée de l&rsquo;hi-fi Focal</strong></a>, voici le Duster indien&#8230; restylé ! Surprise, il ne s&rsquo;agit pas de la seconde génération du Duster mais de la première ! Toujours produite sur place, elle se trouve ainsi prolongée de quelques années.</em></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Renault Duster : Indien depuis 2012</h2>



<p>Si l&rsquo;on connaît le Dacia Duster sur nos routes depuis 2009, le Renault Duster n&rsquo;a foulé le territoire indien qu&rsquo;à partir de 2012. Et si le « nôtre » a été renouvelé en 2017, celui réservé à l&rsquo;Inde n&rsquo;entrevoit, pour l&rsquo;instant, pas de nouvelle génération. C&rsquo;est donc un restylage qu&rsquo;arbore ce « nouveau » Duster, remarquable à une nouvelle et large calandre, un bouclier redessiné, une nouvelle signature lumineuse en C comme de coutume chez Renault, ainsi qu&rsquo;un habitacle discrètement modernisé et coloré. La carrosserie est donc sans changement, et la face avant se rapproche même par certains angles à celle d&rsquo;un Volkswagen Amarok, il y a pire comme référence.</p>

<p>Sous le capot, les motorisations sont reprises de l&rsquo;ancienne version avec en essence un 1,5 106 ch et 142 Nm, soit en boîte manuelle 5 vitesse, soit en boîte CVT 6 rapports. En Diesel, c&rsquo;est aussi 1,5 en cylindrée mais le bloc nous est connu (c&rsquo;est le célèbre K9K présent dans le Groupe Renault depuis le début des années 2000), en 85 ch (200 Nm) seulement en boîte manuelle 5, ou en 110 ch (245 Nm) en boîte manuelle 6 ou boîte automatique.  La transmission 4&#215;4 n&rsquo;est disponible qu&rsquo;en Diesel 110 ch, le reste de la gamme étant 4&#215;2.</p>



<p>A bord, c&rsquo;est par l&rsquo;infodivertissement que le Duster se remarque. C&rsquo;est un point majeur en Inde, où pour séduire les consommateurs ultra connectés Renault n&rsquo;a pas hésité sur <strong><a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/nouveau-renault-triber-un-mini-monospace-inedit-reserve-a-linde/">son dernier MPV Triber</a></strong> à également embarqué de la connectivité dernier-cri. Le Duster est lui aussi compatible CarPlay et Android Auto, un large bandeau d&rsquo;aération face au passager (comme sur le dernier <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/decouvrez-nos-photos-du-nouveau-renault-captur-2019/"><strong>Captur</strong></a>) et des matériaux brillants (plastique laqué, chromé, ou façon aluminium). D&rsquo;extérieur, le Duster 2019 se remarque à sa nouvelle teinte bleue.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Scandaleusement accessible&#8230; en Inde</h2>



<p>Avec un tarif de base de 10 390 euros, soit 7,99 lakh, le Duster restylé, toujours fabriqué localement à Chennai, est plus accessible que son cousin le Captur, produit sur la même plateforme, et qui va de 9,50 à 12 lakhs. Cependant, tout équipé, en Diesel et 4&#215;4, le Duster restylé le coiffe avec un tarif maxi de 12,5 lakhs. Loin cependant d&rsquo;autres modèles comme le <strong><a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/curiosite-une-hyundai-creta-en-france/">Hyundai Creta</a></strong> (de 10 à 15,65 lakhs) ou encore le « régional de l&rsquo;étape », le Mahindra Scorpio (de 10 à 16,44 lakhs). </p>
