<p><em><a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/254149/essai-mazda-2-mhev-115ch-inconnue-au-bataillon-ou-presque/">Après avoir essayé la Mazda 2 micro-hybride</a>, nous voulions tester la Mazda 2 Hybrid. Bien entendu, n&rsquo;importe qui y voit déjà une Toyota Yaris et c&rsquo;est tout à fait normal. Il s&rsquo;agit tout simplement d&rsquo;un rebadgeage de la japonaise. Le but de proposer une telle version hybride ? Baisser les émissions de CO2 du constructeur à moindres frais.  Mais faut-il acheter le clone de la <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/232822/essai-toyota-yaris-la-premiere-citadine-sauce-samourai/">Toyota Yaris</a> ? Réponse dans notre article qui nous a permis de la tester sur différentes routes.</em></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Essai Mazda 2 Hybrid : une Toyota Yaris à quelques détails près</h2>



<p>Avant de détailler plus précisément cette Mazda 2 Hybrid qui n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;une Toyota Yaris rebagée en soit, remontons tout d&rsquo;abord à la fin des années 90. </p>



<p>En effet, certains aficionados de la marque se souviendront de la Mazda 121 qui n&rsquo;est également qu&rsquo;une Ford Fiesta légèrement modifiée sur sa face avant. </p>



<p>Le rebadgeage était né chez Mazda. Puis il y a peu, Toyota a créé un partenariat avec Suzuki pour proposer des modèles clones dénommés <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/232970/essai-suzuki-across-phev-ne-lappelez-pas-rav4/">Across </a>et <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/238960/essai-suzuki-swace-lattaque-des-clones/">Swace</a> qui ne sont que des reprises des RAV4 et Corolla Touring.</p>

<p>Et du coup, cette Mazda 2 Hybrid subit le même sort. Le but étant de baisser les consommations en CO2 du groupe japonais. Et ce qui en fait la première Mazda fabriquée en France. </p>



<p>Etant donné qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un rebadgeage, les plus assidus verront bien que les seuls changements apportés se situent sur les deux logos avant et arrière plutôt bien intégrés ainsi que la présence de la dénomination sur la malle arrière. </p>



<p>Pour le reste, c&rsquo;est <em>stricto sensus</em> une Toyota Yaris avec sa face avant très agressive et ses arches très marquées, rendant cette citadine toujours aussi plaisante à regarder.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Essai Mazda 2 Hybrid : quelques subtilités en intérieur</h2>



<p>Pour l&rsquo;intérieur, c&rsquo;est du même acabit que sa plastique extérieure. En effet, outre les logos du volant et des deux combinés d&rsquo;instrumentation lorsque l&rsquo;on démarre le véhicule, rien ne diffère les deux japonaises. On pourra cependant noter les seuils de porte (en option) au nom de Mazda 2 ainsi qu&rsquo;une sellerie spécifique de notre modèle d&rsquo;essai équipée de la version la plus huppée, à savoir la finition Select.</p>

<p>Pour le reste, on retrouve la même qualité de fabrication de la Toyota Yaris. Avec quelques plastiques un peu durs à certains endroits, couplés à quelques versions un peu moussés. On aurait aimé un peu plus de différenciation entre les deux modèles en adoptant une finition un peu plus soignée pour la Mazda 2 Hybrid.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Essai Mazda 2 Hybrid : une gamme plutôt bien fournie</h2>



<p>En ce qui concerne les finitions, celles-ci sont<a href="https://www.mazda.fr/configurateur/MAZDA2%20Hybrid/5HB/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> au nombre de trois</a>, comparé aux quatre niveaux de finition proposé par sa cousine. Mais comme la Toyota Yaris, le niveau est plutôt riche même dès l&rsquo;entrée de gamme, la finition Pure. </p>



<p>Celle-ci comprend déjà la clim auto, le régulateur de vitesse actif, la réplication de smartphone ou encore les feux de route automatiques. </p>



<p>Mais là où la Yaris ne propose pas d’autre supplément que la peinture métallisée, la Mazda peut se compléter du pack Plus, comprenant la sellerie en tissu noir imprimé, les vitres arrière électriques, le volant cuir chauffant, ou encore le pare-brise acoustique. </p>

<p>Pour la seconde finition dénommée Agile (débutant à 25&nbsp;350&nbsp;€), elle ajoute des jantes en alliage de 15, les 6 haut-parleurs, l’écran central de 8 pouces, les vitres arrière électriques, le capteur de pluie, la sellerie en tissu noir imprimé, la caméra de recul, les sièges avant et le volant chauffants.</p>

<p>Enfin, en haut de gamme (26&nbsp;500&nbsp;€), la finition Select complète la dotation avec des jantes en alliage de 16 pouces, les sièges Sport, le combiné digital, l’affichage tête haute, le chargeur de smartphone par induction, la clim bi-zone, les projecteurs à LED, les radars de stationnement ou encore la surveillance des angles morts. En option, on trouve des jantes de 17 pouces ou encore le toit panoramique (au tarif de 1 100 euros).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Essai Mazda 2 Hybrid : un moteur toujours aussi agréable</h2>



<p>Sur la partie moteur, rien ne diffère de la Toyota Yaris. En effet, cette Mazda 2 Hybrid repose sur la plate-forme TNGA et s&rsquo;équipe du classique moteur 3 cylindres de 1,5 litre de cylindrée avec son cycle Atkinson et son injection indirecte produisant 91 chevaux. Il est relié au moteur électrique de 80 chevaux par l&rsquo;intermédiaire de son alterno-démarreur. Accouplé à un transmission à variation continue, l&rsquo;ensemble mécanique produit une puissance de 116 chevaux. C&rsquo;est largement suffisant pour déplacer les 1 180kg à vide de la citadine.</p>

<p>Globalement, ce moteur est plutôt vif avec de bonnes reprises. Même si l&rsquo;effet de patinage de la boîte reste toujours un peu présent, c&rsquo;est beaucoup moins que l&rsquo;essai que nous avions fait du Toyota Yaris Cross. Peut-être que la marque japonais a retravaillé son ensemble mécanique ou alors l&rsquo;effet est moins présent sur la petite citadine ? En tout cas, on note une sacrée différence lorsque l&rsquo;on sollicite fortement le moteur.</p>

<p>Et niveau consommation dans tout cela ? Et bien, c&rsquo;est toujours aussi efficient. Annoncée à 3,8 litres aux 100 kms, notre consommation sur un trajet qui a mêlé ville, route nationale et 4 voies s&rsquo;est montrée plutôt convaincante avec un score mixte de 4,2 litres aux 100 kms.  </p>



<p>Sur autoroute, le score peut vite exploser puisque nous avons relevé une consommation de presque 8 litres aux 100 kms sur ce type de terrain. Mais ce n&rsquo;est pas sur ce type de route, que l&rsquo;on verra beaucoup la Mazda 2 Hybrid.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Essai Mazda 2 Hybrid : une conduite souple et efficace</h2>



<p>Côté châssis, c&rsquo;est toujours aussi top. Même si l&rsquo;amortissement peut se révéler un peu sec à basse vitesse sur les nid-de-poule ou les irrégularités de la route, la Mazda 2 Hybrid se montre très alerte lorsque l&rsquo;on augmente le ton. </p>



<p>Et même notamment sur les virages serrés de certaines de nos routes parisiennes. Le retour d&rsquo;informations du volant est également très bon et ceci est dû en grande partie à la rigidité de la caisse et du train avant équipé de trains avants type MacPherson. </p>



<p>Bref, une vraie petite bombinette qui vire à plat dès que l&rsquo;on la pousse dans ses retranchements.</p>

<p>En terme de conduite, c&rsquo;est pareil. Démarrant toujours en électrique, le passage entre moteur thermique et électrique se montre quasiment insignifiant. Il faut souvent même regarder sur le tableau de bord central pour s&rsquo;apercevoir sur quel mode on est. </p>



<p>Et c&rsquo;est franchement très agréable au quotidien surtout en ville où la Mazda 2 Hybrid essayera toujours de favoriser le mode électrique.</p>

<p>Seul petit bémol, son manque d&rsquo;insonorisation au niveau des bruits d&rsquo;air. Bien que cela soit quasiment imperceptible en ville, voire même sur des routes à 90 km/h, on sent qu&rsquo;à partir de 100 km/h, la filtration arrive à ses limites. </p>



<p>On entend des bruits d&rsquo;air au niveau des rétroviseurs ainsi qu&rsquo;au niveau des joints de porte. Et en plus, lorsque l&rsquo;on sollicite un peu le moteur à haute vitesse, la mécanique commence à se faire entendre. </p>



<p>Mais comme déjà expliqué, le terrain de jeu de cette citadine reste tout de même la ville où on apprécie cette Mazda 2 Hybrid.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Essai Mazda 2 Hybrid : une concurrence connue</h2>



<p>Alors bien entendu, la principale de la Mazda 2 Hybrid, c&rsquo;est son clone, la Toyota Yaris. En terme de rapport prix/équipement, difficile de les différencier. </p>



<p>Chacune proposant sa version à certains détails. Idem pour la garantie puisqu&rsquo;elles proposent 3 ans de garantie ou 100 000kms. </p>



<p>Ce qui peut les départager, c&rsquo;est le réseau de distribution. En effet, avec près de 300 points de distribution pour Toyota, c&rsquo;est trois fois moins pour la Mazda 2 Hybrid.</p>

<p>Commençons par la française qui offre plus de puissance (145 chevaux contre 116 chevaux pour la japonaise) mais son agrément de conduite avec sa boîte à crabots peut se montre tout aussi bruyant lorsque l&rsquo;on sollicite le moteur. </p>



<p>De plus, l&rsquo;entrée de gamme de la Clio démarre quasiment au même tarif que la Mazda 2 Hybrid.</p>

Même si son agrément moteur est convaincant notamment en ville mais aussi sur nos petites routes nationales, son style typé monospace et son manque de notoriété peut donner l&rsquo;avantage à notre Mazda 2 Hybrid basée sur la Toyota Yaris. </p>



<p>De plus, son prix d&rsquo;entrée de gamme (24 050 euros) est en défaveur avec un équipement bien en deçà de la Mazda 2 Hybrid.</p>
