<p>Si vous nous lisez régulièrement, la Renault Twingo n’a plus beaucoup de mystère pour vous. Sabine Marcelis peut-être un peu plus&nbsp;! Sabine Marcelis est une designer et artiste néerlandaise née en 1985. Ce n’est pas sa première expérience avec une marque, elle a déjà travaillé côté mobilier pour Ikea ou Hem (lampes, articles de maison, petits mobiliers), Céline, Isabel Marant ou McCartney pour la mode, et désormais Renault. C’est la marque française qui a contacté Sabine Marcelis pour son travail marqué par des formes épurées et élégantes, pas nécessairement des caractéristique de la Renault Twingo originale.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Le cahier des charges a tout de même imposé le maintien de la ligne monovolume, la forme de ses phares et ses feux, et surtout, la sensation d’espace intérieur et sa luminosité.&nbsp;</p>

<p><em>La collaboration avec Renault a commencé par une invitation à repenser la Twingo dans le cadre de la célébration de son 30ème anniversaire. C’était une formidable opportunité, et un&nbsp;nouveau&nbsp;terrain&nbsp;d’exploration&nbsp;pour&nbsp;moi&nbsp;car&nbsp;je&nbsp;n’avais&nbsp;jamais conçu&nbsp;de&nbsp;voiture&nbsp;auparavant. Travailler sur une voiture si emblématique et populaire représentait un véritable défi,&nbsp;particulièrement compte tenu de l’échelle du projet. C’était l’opportunité de créer quelque chose&nbsp;de&nbsp;véritablement&nbsp;novateur&nbsp;et de&nbsp;mémorable&nbsp;</em></p>

<p>Au-delà de ce que vous pouvez voir sur les clichés, l’autre changement est l’échange de moteur Cléon par une motorisation électrique, façon rétrofit, dont bénéficiera la Renault Twingo prochainement. Nous aimons la transparence des phares et des feux de la Twingo by Sabine Marcelis qui modifie l’apparence à l’arrêt et dévoile son identité une fois allumé. Nous sommes un peu plus septique quant au volant plein, même si le compteur central permet ce genre de fantaisie.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.renault.fr/les-icones-renault/twingo-30-ans.html" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.renault.fr/les-icones-renault/twingo-30-ans.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Renault<em> </em>célèbre les 30 ans</a> de la Renault Twingo à l’Autobrocante de Lohéac, où est exposée la Renault Twingo by Sabine Marcelis. Cette version semble fantomatique au milieu de toutes les Twingo colorée. Mais à y regarder de plus près, les détails sont subtiles et magnifiques. La double peau de la majorité de la carrosserie est quasiment invisible, et laisse la transparence de la première peau découvrir les reliefs de la seconde.</p>

<p>L&rsquo;intérieur oublie la modularité de la version originale, mais la clarté, l&rsquo;ouverture sur l&rsquo;extérieur est magnifié. Le dessin de la planche ne reprend pas les codes actuels des écrans : il reste central et proche du pare-brise. Le volant plein, même si il n&rsquo;est pas réaliste sans AirBag, joue aussi de la transparence et le rend lui aussi, presque fantomatique. La Twingo by Sabine Marcelis sera visible à Epoqu&rsquo;auto en novembre. </p>
