<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Renault fête les 30 ans de la Twingo !</h2>



<p>Petite grenouille est devenue grande : à force d&rsquo;inventer la vie qui va avec, la Twingo a marqué son époque et entre cette année fièrement dans l&rsquo;univers de la collection. Du moins pour la première « Collection » justement, éligible à la carte grise de la FFVE, car les plus récentes sorties en 2007 ne seront reçues qu&rsquo;en 2037, au plus tôt. <p>C&rsquo;est son double septennat au pouvoir chez les citadines que Renault retrace à Rétromobile, avec cinq modèles choisis :</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>le plus âgé, une Twingo jaune indien open R à toit canvas top, issues des tout premiers exemplaires sorties de chaîne à Flins en 1992 ;</li>



<li>le plus chic, une des rares Twingo Lecoq (moins de 50 unités), réalisée en 1996 par la célèbre carrosserie dans un esprit de quasi Bugatti moderne (jusqu&rsquo;aux jantes), avec inserts bois et cuir à bord en plus de la teinte bicolore ;</li>



<li>la plus sportive, la Twingo Coupe de 1995, dépouillée et allégée pour une série monotype hélas sans lendemain, malgré des prototypes animés par un 1,6 l 135 ch mais aussi le 2,0 l 150 ch de la Clio Williams !</li>



<li>la plus connue, la Twingo Benetton avec ses couleurs et ses monogrammes « United Colors », qui peu après la série Elite plaçait la Twingo définitivement dans l&rsquo;univers de la mode et des collections ; </li>



<li>la dernière série, à savoir une Twingo 1,2 60 ch de 2004 d&rsquo;entrée de gamme.   </li>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">En première mondiale, une Twingo rétrofitée inédite ! </h2>



<p>Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas &#8211; on espère un plus large panel représentatif de Twingo, pourquoi pas à <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/culture/collection/261740/epoquauto-2022-les-50-ans-de-la-renault-5/" data-type="post" data-id="261740">Epoqu&rsquo;Auto comme avec les R5 en 2022</a> ?-, une sixième Twingo est de la partie sur le stand : une Twingo Rétrofit ! Sacrilège ? Non, un modèle unique et au style réinterprétée, comme la <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/255619/une-r5-chic-et-modernisee-voici-la-renault-5-diamant/" data-type="post" data-id="255619">R5 Diamant</a>, mais cette fois par le Design Renault lui-même ! Résultat, une phase 1 à capote qui se la joue chic (planche de bord tendue de cuir lie de vin), voyante (logos dorés) et posée par terre. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cap sur la Twingo du futur ? </h2>



<p>Ni Twingo IV (hypothétique) ni de concept-car pour parler du futur, mais de l&rsquo;intelligence artificielle. L&rsquo;essor de Dall-E et de l&rsquo;OpenAI a donné des idées à Renault pour laisser l&rsquo;imagination des algorithmes répondre aux desiderata des descriptions les plus curieuses. A la clé, des créations à découvrir sur un grand écran.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Et si le futur, c&rsquo;était <s>l&rsquo;Espace</s> le rétrofit ?</h2>



<p>Si Renault passe son tour pour les 40 ans de l&rsquo;Espace -dommage&#8230; mais n&rsquo;est-ce peut-être que partie remise ?-, il n&rsquo;en oublie pas l&rsquo;avenir. Et pour la collection, celui-ci pourrait être le rétrofit. Les kits R-Fit conçus par le Méhari Club de Cassis trouvent en effet une nouvelle utilisation après les 2 CV -et avant les Fiat 500 !- sur les R4 et R5, dûment présentées dans des versions modernisées (logos Nouvel R, configuration Parisienne anachronique sur la Quatrelle des années 80&#8230;). Et l&rsquo;automobile d&rsquo;être synonyme d&rsquo;une liberté où chacun peut faire ce qu&rsquo;il souhaite, et moderniser ou non sa voiture du style jusqu&rsquo;à la mécanique !</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cap vers un centenaire en 2024 !</h2>



<p>Et l&rsquo;on n&rsquo;a pas fini d&rsquo;entendre parler d&rsquo;électrique puisque le stand comprend aussi les concept <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/245388/suite-n4-de-mathieu-lehanneur-et-la-renault-4-devint-hotel-mobile/" data-type="post" data-id="245388">Suite N°4 </a>et <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/salons/mondial-de-lauto-2022/260261/live-paris-2022-visite-du-stand-renault/" data-type="post" data-id="260261">R5 Turbo 3E</a>, déjà présentées dans nos colonnes, ainsi qu&rsquo;un futur projet : le Mute the Hot Rod ! Traduction : rend muet les hot rod, célèbres pour leurs pétarades, avec une base de 1924, une Renault Type MT ! </p>



<p>Intégralement restaurée, et préparée, elle deviendra un showcar courant 2023 avant de peut-être devenir&#8230; un véritable hot rod de records de vitesse en électrique ? A coup sûr un modèle original qui ne devrait pas déparer si Renault ose l&rsquo;amener sur la plage de Riva Bella à Ouistreham pour la 3e édition de la <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/culture/collection/218399/normandy-beach-race-2020-vent-de-fraicheur-des-annees-40/" data-type="post" data-id="218399">Normandy Beach Race</a>.</p>
