<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Renault Arkana, le Duster coupé moscovite</h2>



<p>Long de 4,54 m, le nouveau Renault Arkana est à peine plus long qu’un Kadjar (6 cm) mais n’en dérive pas. A la place, nous retrouvons la plateforme des Duster et Kaptur (le Captur russe repose sur un soubassement de Duster et est de ce fait disponible en version 4&#215;4 là-bas). Et c’est sans doute là tout le problème : en reposant sur la base du Duster, le nouveau coupé SUV Renualt Arkana ne va probablement jamais fouler les concessions européennes de Renault. Dommage, lorsqu’on sait l’engouement du marché pour les SUV et, plus récemment, pour des dérivés comme les coupés SUV. BMW en sait quelque chose…</p>

<p>Renault manque peut-être ici l’occasion d’être le premier
constructeur généraliste à emboîter le pas aux premiums sur ce segment en
Europe. Mais les russes pourront en profiter dès le second semestre de cette année.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Renault Arkana : une base connue mais pas coupé collé</h2>



<p>Le Renault Arkana repose donc sur une plateforme de Duster à laquelle il apporte le nouveau bloc 1.3 TCe de 150 ch (250 Nm de couple) associé à une boîte auto à variation continue X-Tronic et une transmission intégrale 4&#215;4. Une offre inconnue sur le Duster produit en Roumanie pour Dacia. </p>

<p>Toujours au chapitre des communautés de pièces, on retrouve à bord une planche de bord issue du Duster, légèrement modifiée par endroits, notamment autour du bandeau et des aérateurs, mais conservant l’implantation du GPS et des commandes de clim (que l’on retrouve même sur la <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/decouverte-statique-renault-clio-v/">nouvelle Renault Clio V</a>). Les nouveautés consistent en l’arrivée du système multimédia tactile Easylink de 8 pouces et du Multi-Sense permettant de choisir entre trois modes de conduite. Côté habitabilité, le Renault Arkana annonce un volume de chargement de 508 l (jusqu’à 1 333 l banquette rabattue).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Russie, Corée du Sud… who’s next&nbsp;?</h2>



<p>Commercialisé en Russie dans les semaines à venir, le Renault Arkana sera également décliné en 2020 chez Samsung, en Corée du Sud, sous le patronyme de XM3 (les citroénistes apprécieront). Quasi identique à l’Arnaka dehors, le XM3 sera inédit dessous : la plateforme de la version coréenne est différente puisqu’il s’agit de la nouvelle CMF-B des Renault Clio 5 et Captur 2, et du Nissan Juke 2. On retrouvera le XM3 en Chine sous le logo Renault.</p>

<p>Puisque l’étude de la version coréenne est faite sur la
nouvelle base, il y a fort à parier que l’Arkana nous arrive un peu plus tard
en Europe, toujours basé sur la CMF-B et l’on imagine volontiers l’usine
espagnole de Valladolid assembler cet futur Arkana aux côtés du Captur II.
