<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Porsche Mission X Concept : vers une supercar électrique</h2>



<p>Après les Porsche 959, Carrera GT et 918 Spyder, c&rsquo;est une nouvelle génération de supercar Porsche qui approche avec la Mission X. Le nom est traditionnel des concepts de la marque, après les Mission E &#8211; devenue <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/241552/essai-porsche-taycan-turbo-lessence-de-la-marque/">Taycan</a>&#8211; et <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/salons/salon-de-munich-2021/242538/live-munich-2021-porsche-mission-r-concept/" data-type="post" data-id="242538">Mission R</a> -appelée à devenir une compétition monotype. </p>



<p>C&rsquo;est ainsi que Porsche annonce se positionner en rival des Maserati MC20 Folgore, Lotus Eviya, mais aussi de la Rimac Nevera (Rimac étant son partenaire au sein de Bugatti et du groupe Volkswagen), la Pininfarina Battista (sur technologie Rimac) ou encore la chinoise HongQi S9, dessinée par Walter de Silva, ancien grand directeur du style du groupe Volkswagen. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mission X : pour célébrer 75 ans d&rsquo;histoire</h2>



<p>L&rsquo;autre but de ce concept anniversaire est de marquer les 75 ans de Porsche avec un prototype tout sauf sorti d&rsquo;un futur évanescent, réaliste esthétiquement et doté d&rsquo;un intérieur complet, et qui semble parfaitement fonctionnel. Si l&rsquo;on n&rsquo;en connaît pas encore les caractéristiques techniques, tout juste sait-on que les batteries sont situées derrière le cockpit et que les rumeurs envisagent une puissance de 1 700 ch. L&rsquo;aérodynamique est soignée avec un aileron intégré au fuselage arrière, et des rétroviseurs caméras.</p>

<p>Comme pour tout électrique, le poids est l&rsquo;ennemi d&rsquo;où le choix de jantes en magnésium (comme les première 2 CV de 1939 !) ainsi que d&rsquo;une structure en fibre de carbone pour la cellule centrale. Mais le chic demeure avec le bloc moteur demeure visible sous vitrine, et un habitacle tout de cuir tendu. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bientôt en production ? </h2>



<p>Tout porte à croire&#8230; que oui. Le style est réaliste, les solutions techniques ne sont pas indépassables (surtout quand on a Rimac comme partenaire direct au sein du même groupe). La décision finale serait prise d&rsquo;ici quelques mois mais le contexte est porteur, avec de la concurrence pour se mesurer (Maserati, Lotus, Hongqi mais aussi Nio ou Aspark et le futur Tesla Roadster II) et le large mouvement d&rsquo;électrification en cours des productions, même si Porsche est aussi aux avant-postes des e-Fuels pour assurer la survie des moteurs thermiques.</p>



<p>Reste à savoir si la Porsche Mission X Concept n&rsquo;est pas aussi le premier modèle prêt à relancer une fois de plus le combat des chefs avec Ferrari et McLaren : déjà en 2010, c&rsquo;est Porsche avec la 918 Spyder Concept qui avait lancé les hostilités sur des supercars hybrides ; trois ans plus tard, le modèle de série arrivait aux côtés de LaFerrari et P1&#8230; Perspective enthousiasmante s&rsquo;il en est de voir de nouveau ces constructeurs se livrer une bataille technologique, 100 % électrique cette fois !</p>

<p><em>Après être devenue la cible persistante de railleries, <a href="https://www.lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/marque/porsche/" target="_blank" data-type="page" data-id="238880" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tesla </a>est devenue l’obsession de tous. Plus personne ne parle d&rsquo;automobile sans penser à la marque ou son patron Elon Musk. Même Porsche a répondu au constructeur californien en mettant au point sa première voiture électrique&nbsp;: la Porsche Taycan Turbo. Les ingénieurs de Stuttgart veulent montrer que, eux-aussi, savent faire des berlines électriques performantes et annoncent avec ce première modèle une esquisse de l’avenir de Porsche.</em></p>

<p>Présenter le Taycan comme la première électrique de Porsche serait en réalité un raccourci historique erroné. En 1898, Ferdinand Porsche dévoilait déjà à Vienne la P1&nbsp;: un véhicule électrique de 130 kg atteignant 35 km/h et 80 km d’autonomie. Plus de 120 ans plus tard et à la suite d’une lignée de modèles thermiques emblématiques, Porsche défraie la chronique avec le lancement d’une berline 100% électrique.</p>

<p>Autant aller directement au cœur du sujet. Si certains puristes pensaient que l’âme de Porsche se trouvait au cœur de ses mythiques moteurs Flat-6, ils se trompaient. S’ils pensaient qu’une voiture électrique ne pouvait pas être une voiture sportive, ils faisaient encore plus fausse route. Les motorisations ne sont qu’un outil temporel pour contribuer à la création de sensations et d’émotions.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Porsche Taycan Turbo&nbsp;: rapide ou sportive&nbsp;?</strong></h2>



<p>Pied sur le frein. Pied sur l’accélérateur. Le «&nbsp;launch control&nbsp;» s’active et tout ce qu’il reste à faire est de relâcher le frein pour être propulsé à 100 km/h en 3,2 secondes. D’accord, jusqu’ici c’est impressionnant mais c’est le même plaisir d’accélération qu’une Tesla Model S en version «&nbsp;grande autonomie&nbsp;». Fort heureusement, la conduite n’est pas qu’une simple histoire d’accélération.</p>



<p>La suspension à double triangulation produit un travail formidable et rend la voiture incroyablement sportive et polyvalente. D’une manière ou d’une autre, elle parvient à filtrer les aspérités les plus chaotiques de la route tout en praocurant une adhérence au sol particulièrement étonnante. De plus, en toute situation, l’amortissement adaptatif réagit avec brio. Quelle que soit la vitesse, on se sent à bord d’un nuage ultra rapide à qui il ne peut rien arriver ou presque. Avec près de 2,4 tonnes sur la balance il ne faut pas non plus trop s’emporter.</p>

<p>Dès l’enclenchement du mode Sport, la voiture montre un vrai visage sportif. C’est aussi étonnant à vivre à bord, qu’à écrire ici, mais même avec un surpoids non négligeable et une structure de berline la Porsche Taycan Turbo montre un vrai comportement sportif. Pas simplement dynamique, mais sportif. Le châssis et train avant sont délicieux de précision, le sous-virage est très léger et on se sent très vite à l’aise pour enchaîner les virages. Là où une Tesla Model S atteint ses limites après quelques virages et freinages, la Porsche Taycan Turbo ne faiblit pas et en redemande.</p>



<p>Pour cela on passe en mode Sport Plus. La Porsche Taycan Turbo devient diabolique et se transforme à tous les niveaux. Déjà, le bruit du véhicule n’est plus le même. Oui, cela peut paraître impensable sur une voiture électrique mais, même de l’extérieur, on se surprend à reconnaître une Taycan Turbo les yeux fermés. Lorsque l’on croise un bruit de moteur électrique aussi bestial, comme si un TGV s’approchait de nous, aucun doute sur le modèle.</p>

<p>Au volant, la voiture est un monstre de brutalité et de rapidité qui se conduit pourtant très facilement du bout des doigts. Encore une fois, attention tout de même à ne pas prendre trop confiance. Les chiffres de performances peuvent donner le tournis comme l’attestent par exemple la reprise de 80 à 120 km/h en 1,9 seconde ou encore le 0 à 200 km/h en 10,6 secondes. Ouch. Autant vous dire que l’on ressent intiment bien les 850 Nm de couple qui nous collent régulièrement au fond des sièges.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Porsche Taycan Turbo&nbsp;: séduire et émotionner</strong></h2>



<p>A l’intérieur, Porsche n’a pas non plus fait les choses à moitié. En ouvrant la portière, «&nbsp;wah&nbsp;» est sans doute la réaction la plus naturelle qui soit. L’habitacle baigne dans une atmosphère très particulière, entre technologie et confort haut de gamme. Les écrans sont omniprésents et impressionnants. Du tableau de bord numérique incurvé, à l’immense console centrale tactile en passant par l’écran du passager sur la planche de bord ou celui pour les passagers arrière, toutes ces dalles numériques nous propulsent dans une dimension tout à fait inhabituelle. On ne sait presque plus où donner de la tête. Et c’est d’ailleurs le revers de la médaille puisque, si les informations au tableau de bord sont claires et facile à appréhender, l’usage des autres écrans est nettement moins aisé.</p>

<p>L’infotainment n’est pas aussi exceptionnel que l’on pourrait l’espérer et la logique de réglages de certaines commandes laisse parfois pantois. Autrement dit, il faut passer un certain temps avec le manuel d’utilisation et les menus de configurations pour s’approprier l’utilisation de l’infotainment. De la même façon, on peut toujours s’interroger sur la pertinence du réglage de la climatisation sur l’écran central tactile… C’est parfois laborieux et oblige toujours à détourner le regard de la route. Tout ceci n’est peut-être pas rédhibitoire mais entache nécessairement l’expérience de conduite au quotidien. Et cela peut être frustrant quand on voit les qualités de roulage de la voiture.</p>

<p>Si vous comparez encore une <a href="https://www.tesla.com/fr_fr/models/design#overview" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Model S à 99&nbsp;990 euros</a> à une <a href="https://www.porsche.com/france/models/taycan/taycan-models/taycan-turbo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Taycan Turbo de 156&nbsp;334 euros,</a> sachez que c’est aussi pertinent que de s’évertuer à comparer une Tesla Model S à une Mercedes-Benz Classe S. Ou un plat de pâtes à la crème de truffe à un rizotto à la truffe. Ce n’est pas parce qu’il y a de la truffe dans les deux plats qu’on y trouve des apports gustatifs et énergétiques comparables.</p>

<p>D’autant plus que, vraiment, Taycan et Model S n’ont absolument rien à voir. Au-delà du prix, ce sont deux univers radicalement différents et un acheteur potentiel n’aura absolument aucun doute sur son choix avant de signer le bon de commande. <p>Quoi qu’il en soit, Porsche vient de rassurer tous les anxieux sur la motorisation électrique. Et la marque en profite probablement pour réussir à attirer d’autres clients. Si les véhicules électriques ont de beaux jours devant eux avec le durcissement des règlementations environnementales, l’avenir de l’automobile sportive s’annonce peut-être encore plus radieux pour les amateurs de performance et de sensations.</p>
