<h2 class="wp-block-heading">DS Numéro 8 : résumé des épisodes précédents</h2>



<p>La DS Numéro 8 se distingue par son design futuriste, inspiré du concept DS Aero Sport Lounge. Avec une longueur de 4,82 mètres, une largeur de 1,90 mètre et une hauteur de 1,58 mètre, cette berline affiche aussi une originale calandre illuminée tandis que les projecteurs à trois modules ornés de motifs guillochés ajoutent une touche de sophistication à l&rsquo;ensemble.</p>

<p>L&rsquo;intérieur de la DS Numéro 8 joue la carte du raffinement avec une certaine recherche du côté des <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/reveal/8-secrets-sur-les-couleurs-et-matieres-de-la-ds-n8/">couleurs et matières</a> : ça change du similicuir noir… qui reste cependant disponible en entrée de gamme pour les amateurs !</p>

<p>Sous le capot, la DS Numéro 8 propose deux motorisations électriques : une version de 230 chevaux avec une batterie de 74 kWh et une version de 350 chevaux avec une batterie de 98 kWh. Ces motorisations permettent à la DS Numéro 8 d&rsquo;offrir une autonomie allant jusqu&rsquo;à 750 kilomètres selon le cycle WLTP. La version de 74 kWh promet une consommation moyenne de 15 kWh/100 km, tandis que la version de 98 kWh revendique théoriquement 19 kWh/100 km. L&rsquo;habitabilité est également un point fort de la DS Numéro 8 avec un coffre de 620 litres.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">DS Numéro 8 : tarifs et comparaison des versions</h2>



<p>En Belgique, la DS Numéro 8 est disponible en deux finitions : Pallas et Étoile. La version <strong>Pallas</strong>, qui inclut des jantes de 19 pouces, un écran central de 16 pouces et un régulateur adaptatif, est proposée à partir de <strong>58 025,99 euros</strong> (oui, il y a bien deux chiffres après la virgule !) pour la motorisation de 230 chevaux et <strong>62 337,99 euros</strong> pour la motorisation de 350 chevaux. La teinte Blanc Albâtre est de série, les autres étant payantes.</p>

<p>La finition <strong>Étoile</strong>, qui ajoute des projecteurs matriciels, un habitacle tendu d&rsquo;Alcantara, un affichage tête-haute et un accès-démarrage mains-libres, est disponible à partir de <strong>65 081,99 euros</strong> pour la motorisation de 230 chevaux et <strong>69 393,99 euros</strong> pour la motorisation de 350 chevaux.</p>



<p>Parmi les options notables, la teinte biton étendue au capot est facturée 1176,02 euros (DS tient aux 2 centimes !), tandis que le Pack Tech (avec l’ensemble des aides à la conduite) coûte 2450,01 €, au centime près, donc.<br></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">DS Numéro 8 Jules Verne : la surprise !</h2>



<p>Alors que l’on connaissait l’existence des versions Etoile et Pallas, le site belge nous surprend en dévoilant une étonnante série spéciale baptisée Jules Verne, concoctée par les maîtres-artisans DS. Non encore tarifée, elle se base sur le haut de gamme Etoile et dispose d’un garnissage intérieur spécifique évoquant De la Terre à la Lune. Verra-t-on une série spéciale Jules Verne en remplacement de la Saint-Exupéry sur le reste de la gamme ? L’avenir nous le dira.<br>En attendant, on vous laisse admirer les images.<br></p>

<p>Cela faisait pas mal de temps qu&rsquo;elle était attendue. Elle, c&rsquo;est la DS N°8, que nous appelions encore, avant sa <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/ds-n8-un-suv-coupe-pour-couronner-la-gamme-ds-photos-video/">présentation</a> en décembre 2024, DS 8. Car oui, avec elle, DS en profite pour changer sa nomenclature. Les DS 3, DS 4 et DS 7 devraient donc changer leurs appellations lors de leurs renouvellements (ou même restylage dans le cas de la DS 4).</p>



<p>La DS N°8 est le nouveau vaisseau amiral de la marque. Basée sur la plateforme STLA Medium (celle utilisée, notamment, par le P<a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/prise-en-main-peugeot-e-3008-gt-le-lion-aurait-il-rentre-ses-griffes/">eugeot 3008</a>), elle mesure tout de même 4,82 mètres de long. Elle arbore surtout une silhouette au hayon incliné, un peu comme une <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/286019/road-trip-en-peugeot-308-et-peugeot-408-a-travers-le-japon/">Peugeot 408</a> ou un <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/essai-la-correze-en-bmw-ix2-edrive-20-electrique/">BMW iX2</a>, même si elle les toise en termes de gabarit.</p>



<p>Originale à l&rsquo;extérieur (notamment avec sa peinture biton, en option), la DS N°8 l&rsquo;est aussi à l&rsquo;intérieur, avec son volant inspiré de la barre d&rsquo;un bateau. Au salon de Bruxelles 2025, cet intérieur adopte une couleur caramel, très chaleureuse.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">DS N°8 : électrique</h2>



<p>Pour le moment, la DS N°8 n&rsquo;a été annoncée qu&rsquo;en électrique. Deux versions « traction », de 230 et 245 ch seront proposées dès son lancement, à l&rsquo;été, tandis qu&rsquo;une déclinaison de 350 ch (deux moteurs, un par essieu) avec une transmission intégrale chapeautera la gamme. La DS N°8 de 230 ch sera couplée à une batterie de 74 kWh de capacité, alors que les deux autres auront droit à une batterie de 97,2 kWh. En variante 245 ch, DS promet que la N°8 atteindrait, en cycle mixte WLTP, les 750 km d&rsquo;autonomie. Une belle performance, si tel est le cas.</p>



<p>Rendez-vous dans quelques semaines pour en savoir plus, notamment à propos de ses prix et équipements. La DS N°8 sera produite à <a href="https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usine_Stellantis_de_Melfi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Melfi</a>, en Italie. Outre le remplaçant du DS 7 (probablement DS N°7, donc), elle partagera sa ligne de production avec la future Lancia Gamma, elle aussi dans un style SUV Coupé.</p>
