<p><em>Enfin,&nbsp;Renault ouvre les portes de son histoire ! En 2027, la marque au Losange inaugurera <strong>un musée qu&rsquo;elle promet spectaculaire</strong> au cœur de son site historique de Flins, à 40 kilomètres de Paris. Ce nouvel écrin patrimonial rassemblera pour la première fois<strong> l’ensemble des collections de la marque</strong> : véhicules historiques, archives, œuvres d’art&#8230; Tout y sera présenté et réuni. </em></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Musée Renault : à Flins plutôt qu&rsquo;à Boulogne-Billancourt</h2>



<p>Commençons par la question qui fâche&nbsp;: pourquoi un Musée Renault à Flins qu&rsquo;à Boulogne-Billancourt, berceau de la marque ? Renault est discret sur ce sujet, mais l’équation est simple&nbsp;: le prix du mètre carré n’est pas le même en première couronne de Paris qu’à Flins, et l’espace manque désormais au milieu des projets immobiliers lancés depuis le fin des années 1990. Les décisions prises il y a plus de 20 ans, de se séparer des terrains de la marque, se paient aujourd’hui, et <em><a href="https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5o9lnp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Retour vers le Futur</a> </em>n’existe qu’au cinéma.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Le choix de Flins n’est pas que symbolique&nbsp;: c’est la deuxième usine automobile de Renault en France, et c’est surtout la première <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=py0at1oK07M" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reFactory dédiée à l’économie circulaire</a>. C’est aussi un choix terre à terre, car c’est à Flins que sont entreposés et réunis les 800 modèles de la collection Renault, ce qui en simplifiera la logistique. Enfin, les passionnés d’automobile n’auront aucun mal à se déplacer en voiture pour visiter le Musée Renault, même à 40 km de Paris. La circulation n&rsquo;en sera que plus fluide.&nbsp;</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Flins, symbole d’hier et de demain</h2>



<p>Dans cet espace inédit, le visiteur pourra revivre les grandes étapes de l’histoire de la marque à travers des modèles emblématiques, des archives et des publicités qui ont marqué leur époque, ou encore des œuvres d’art exceptionnelles. Le tout sera enrichi par une&nbsp;expérience immersive en réalité virtuelle,&nbsp;plongeant le visiteur au cœur de la saga Renault, qui est aussi un morceau de l’histoire industrielle de l&rsquo;Hexagone.</p>



<p>Si le Musée prendra place dans l’usine de Flins, c’est un nouveau bâtiment, imaginé par l’architecte&nbsp;Jacob Celnikier (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=py0at1oK07M" target="_blank" rel="noopener">agence CGA</a>), qui s’insèrera à la lisière de la ville de Flins-sur-Seine et de l’usine. Elle prend le contre-pied de l’horizontalité des bâtiments industriels dessinés par Bernard Zehrfuss (Grand Prix de Rome 1939), en s’élevant en une composition verticale de six volumes emboîtés comme des poupées russes. Sa façade fragmentée, faite d’ouïes successives, dévoile par transparence un pan de la collection :&nbsp;un mur automobile monumental, où les véhicules de la collection seront présentés sur des palettiers géants.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Musée Renault : avec une collection unique, témoin de l’histoire</h2>



<p>Ce musée Renault, c’est d’abord l’occasion de dévoiler&nbsp;un trésor patrimonial&nbsp;longtemps resté confidentiel. Renault conserve une&nbsp;collection historique de plusieurs centaines de véhicules, depuis les origines avec des Type A de 1898 (certes des reproductions) mais aussi des taxis AG de la Marne jusqu’aux Formule 1, en passant par tous les concept-cars, un avion et bien sûr, de très nombreuses voitures de série. Il se murmure même que quelques modèles restés secrets dans l&rsquo;histoire de la marque y soient jalousement gardés&#8230; </p>



<p>Soigneusement préservés, et restaurées au fur et à mesure, plus de la moitié de ces voitures sont encore roulantes. Une équipe de six techniciens veille à leur préservation, et un atelier de restauration sera intégré au site, pour entretenir ces pièces d’exception.</p>



<p>Mais l’automobile n’est qu’une partie de l’héritage.&nbsp;Renault détient également 2 400 mètres linéaires d’archives, rassemblant affiches, dessins, miniatures, livres, trophées… Ce fonds documentaire, jusqu’ici peu visible, sera mis en valeur au sein d’espaces de consultation et d’exposition thématique.</p>

<p>Le musée Renault ne sera pas figé. La marque promet qu' »<em>il vivra, évoluera, s’enrichira</em>« . A ce titre, une première grande&nbsp;vente aux enchères de doublons, organisée avec <a href="https://www.artcurial.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Artcurial</a>, est prévue les 6 et 7 décembre 2025. Son objectif sera de rationaliser la collection tout en permettant à des passionnés de devenir à leur tour des passeurs de mémoire. Ce n&rsquo;est <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/salons/retromobile-2023/264660/retromobile-2023-morceaux-choisis-de-la-vente-artcurial/">pas la première fois</a>, ce n&rsquo;est jamais de gaîté de cœur (certains loupés sont encore dans les mémoires), et nous serons vigilants au catalogue final. </p>



<p>Rappelons qu’à la dernière édition de Rétromobile, Renault a présenté une gamme de services dédiés aux collectionneurs, au sein du label <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/the-originals-renault-services/" data-type="post" data-id="307329">The Originals Renault Services</a>, preuve supplémentaire que la marque soigne son passé pour mieux construire l’avenir.&nbsp;</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Art et automobile : un dialogue ancien</h2>



<p>Depuis les années 1930, Renault cultive un lien profond avec l’art contemporain. Ce dialogue entre industrie et création est matérialisé par une&nbsp;collection d’art unique en son genre, constituée de centaines d’œuvres. Parmi elles, les photographies de Robert Doisneau, salarié Renault dans les années 1930, une Renault 4 signée Arman, des peintures d’Erró consacrées à la R5, des œuvres de Victor Vasarely (auteur avec son fils Yvaral du Losange de 1972) ou encore des pièces de Jean Dubuffet.</p>



<p>Ce fonds, structuré depuis 2024 en&nbsp;Fonds Renault pour l’Art et la Culture, a pour mission de préserver ce patrimoine tout en continuant à soutenir la création contemporaine. Le focus se tourne aujourd’hui vers le&nbsp;street art, avec des artistes comme <a href="http://Visite de l’usine Renault de Douai">Dan Rawlings</a> ou <a href="https://cesarmalfi.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">César Malfi</a>, qui recyclent pièces et carrosseries de véhicules pour en faire des œuvres.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">L’Art Factory : résidence de création au cœur de Flins</h2>



<p>Dans cette logique,&nbsp;Renault a ouvert une résidence d’artistes à Flins, baptisée&nbsp;Art Factory. Installée dans l’ancien bâtiment de peinture, elle offre 3 200 m² aux artistes pour expérimenter, créer et exposer. Un environnement unique, mêlant ambiance urbaine et traces industrielles, propice à la création d’œuvres puissantes, souvent monumentales.</p>



<p>Parmi les premières résidences, l’œuvre Ready-made 1935-2025 de Gérard Zlotykamien, peinte sur un bus Renault TN4H de 1937, marque les esprits. On avait emprunté l&rsquo;un de ses homologues pour aller à <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/253797/renault-a-roland-garros-premier-service/">Roland Garros il y a quelques années</a>, le voici repeint de pied en cape ! L’artiste Jean Faucheur, co-commissaire du programme aux côtés de Gaël Lefeuvre, est déjà en résidence pour réaliser une œuvre in situ. Chaque création pourra ensuite intégrer le parcours du musée ou les expositions temporaires.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Qui est l&rsquo;architecte du Musée Renault Jacob Celnikier, de l’agence CGA&nbsp;?</h2>



<p>Jacob Celnikier est diplômé de l’École d’Architecture de Paris Belleville en 1996. Il a travaillé aux côtés de Michel Rémon Architecture. En 2005,&nbsp;Jacob Celnikier fonde avec Pascal Grabli, l&rsquo;agence <a href="https://www.celnikier-grabli.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Celnikier &amp; Grabli Architectes</a> avec l’idée de défendre une idée généreuse et sensible de l’architecture. La transparence est très importante à leurs yeux et se ressent dans la projet de Musée Renault. Ce dernier est aussi le premier projet muséographique de l’agence, plus habituée aux autres types de bâtiments publics : centres de recherche, stades, campus universitaires, pavillons, laboratoires… </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Le Pavillon de la France à l&rsquo;Exposition universelle de Dubaï en 2020/21/22 : </h4>



<p>C&rsquo;est le pavillon national qui a présenté la France et son développement culturel aux visiteurs de l&rsquo;Expo, qui s&rsquo;est tenue d&rsquo;octobre 2021 à mars 2022, et qui a drainé plus de 25 millions de personnes.</p>



<p>Surface : 4  300 m².</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rendez-vous dans 2 ans…</h2>



<p>Maintenant que l’annonce est faite, Renault va enfin rejoindre la club des constructeurs qui ont leur musée : il n&rsquo;y a guère que <a href="http://La Peugeot 9X8 au Musée de l’Aventure Peugeot">Peugeot</a> à Sochaux, mais on compte en Allemagne les musées Porsche et Mercedes-Benz à Stuttgart, BMW à Munich, <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/tag/autostadt-wolfsburg/">Volkswagen avec la Zeithaus de l&rsquo;Autostadt à Wolfsburg</a>, Alfa Romeo à Arese, <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/culture/collection/270372/visite-du-toyota-commemorative-museum-of-industry-and-technology/" data-type="post" data-id="270372">Toyota</a> à Nagoya… et tant d&rsquo;autres. </p>



<p>Même si 2 ans c&rsquo;est court quand on attendu des décennies, il va encore falloir s’armer de patience. Et en attendant, le <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/aux-champs-elysees-adieu-latelier-renault-place-au-defile-renault/" data-type="post" data-id="283655">Défilé Renault</a>, nouveau nom donné à l&rsquo;Atelier Renault, ouvrira officiellement ses portes en septembre 2025 avec une exposition qui, il ne faut pas en douter, mêlera histoire et actualité&nbsp;!</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">L’Usine Renault de Flins en 5 points clés</h3>

<li>L’usine Renault de Flins&nbsp;(Yvelines) est inaugurée en 1952 pour compléter celle de Boulogne-Billancourt, saturée. Elle est donc est la première usine de Renault implantée hors de Paris intra-muros, sur un site plus vaste et modernisé.</li>



<li>Le premier modèle produit sur place est la&nbsp;4 CV, puis suivent des icônes comme la&nbsp;Dauphine, la&nbsp;R4, la&nbsp;R5, la&nbsp;Clio, la Twingo et enfin, la Renault Zoé. Nissan y a fabriqué sa 4<sup>e</sup>&nbsp;génération de Micra.&nbsp;</li>



<li>À son apogée dans les années 1970-80, l’usine emploie jusqu’à&nbsp;10 000 personnes&nbsp;et produit plus de&nbsp;1 000 véhicules par jour.</li>



<li>En 2021, Renault annonce la reconversion de l’usine en&nbsp;ReFactory, un centre dédié à l’économie circulaire. La ReFactory se concentre sur la&nbsp;reconversion, reconditionnement, recyclage&nbsp;et la formation aux métiers de demain.</li>
