<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Youngtimers japonais : Epoqu&rsquo;Auto se met à l&rsquo;heure du soleil levant !</h2>



<p>Avec plus 350 m² dévolus aux Young&rsquo;, l&rsquo;organisateur d&rsquo;Epoqu&rsquo;Auto, le Club des 3A, persiste dans sa démarche d&rsquo;ouvrir la collection aux modèles plus récents. Et c&rsquo;est très bien ainsi, d&rsquo;autant que le plateau 2024 ouvre la porte à des 16 modèles rares voire introuvables en Europe, le double de l&rsquo;année 2023.</p>



<p>Premier plateau, les sportives avec l&rsquo;icône de Mazda, la 787B prêtée par le Musée des 24 Heures du Mans. Elle est exposée à côté d&rsquo;une MX-5 Le Mans NA de 1991, une série limitée de Mazda UK dont seuls 23 exemplaires ont été produits ! Rareté supplémentaire, le modèle d&rsquo;Epoqu&rsquo;Auto est signé par Johnny Herbert, vainqueur au volant de la 787B. A leurs côtés, une autre Mazda épicée, la RX-7, avec un modèle de 2002 avec kit carrosserie spécifique.</p>

<p>Honda complète ce plateau avec trois modèles énervés : une NSX, une S2000 et une Civic Type R,  trois modèles qui sont rentrés dans l&rsquo;histoire par leur efficacité, leur son ou tout simplement les légendes qui en ont pris le volant, à l&rsquo;image d&rsquo;Ayrton Senna pour la NSX. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Les Kei cars : les plus kawaï !</h2>



<p>La France n&rsquo;a eu droit qu&rsquo;à un seul des modèles exposés, la Daihatsu Copen. Pourtant, d&rsquo;autres ont existé au Japon : la Honda Beat (1994), la Tommy Kaira (1997) et l&rsquo;AutoZam AZ1 M2 (1994). A chaque fois, un micro moteur, un poids plume&#8230; mais du sport quand même. La Kaira par exemple, produite en Angleterre et devenue célèbre avec GranTurismo, développait 180 ch ! Seuls 220 exemplaires en ont été produits.</p>

<p>L&rsquo;AutoZam AZ1 exposée un rare modèle M2 Incorporated, le préparateur filiale de Mazda qui produisait la voiture. Pourtant, la base de l&rsquo;AutoZam est une Suzuki, marque qui proposera de son côté un mini-4&#215;4 avec le X-90. </p>

<p>Il n&rsquo;y en a que 2 en France, et l&rsquo;une d&rsquo;elles venue de Reims est à Epoqu&rsquo;Auto : c&rsquo;est la Toyota Century ! La seule limousine japonaise à moteur V12 et sellerie en laine était exposée à Epoqu&rsquo;Auto avec tout son luxe de raffinement intérieur et de curiosité. Ce modèle de 2010 est connu pour être celui de <a href="https://www.instagram.com/koukisgarage/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kouki&rsquo;s garage</a> qui a raconté sur son profil l&rsquo;histoire de son importation jusqu&rsquo;en France. </p>

<p>On retrouve d&rsquo;autres modèles japonais « cultes » à l&rsquo;image de la Mitsubishi 3000 GT, de la Toyota Supra ou de la Nissan GT-R sur ce plateau, même si les plus rares Subaru SV-X (<a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/salons/47967/epoquauto-2019-des-coupes-4-places-pour-lexposition-youngtimers/" data-type="post" data-id="47967">déjà invitée en 2019 !</a>) et Lexus LS sont aussi présentées. De quoi faire vivre la passion pour le Japon, pour les youngtimers et pour les automobiles originales et différentes de la plus belle des manières ! </p>

<p>S&rsquo;ajoute à ce plateau de nombreux clubs de youngtimers japonais, invités par le Salon Epoqu&rsquo;Auto, et qui exposaient leurs modèles sur le parking P4 réservé aux modèles de collection. Une consécration, autant que l&rsquo;opportunité de mettre en avant d&rsquo;autres raretés tels qu&rsquo;un Mitsubishi Delica ou encore des Subaru Impreza décorées façon rallye.</p>
