<p><em>Parmi les nouveautés présentées au Salon de Bruxelles, il y avait une japonaise originale : <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/mazda-mx-30-electrique-dinspiration-eclectique-45569/">la Mazda MX-30</a>. C&rsquo;est la première électrique de Mazda et le moins qu&rsquo;on puisse dire est que même si nous la rencontrons pour la deuxième fois <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/salon-de-tokyo-2019-tour-dhorizon-en-photos-1-8-45729/">après le Salon de Tokyo</a>, elle continue d&rsquo;attiser notre curiosité !</em></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">La Mazda MX-30 en Europe pour la première fois</h2>



<p>Avec la Mazda MX-30, le constructeur d&rsquo;Hiroshima renouvelle ses codes. La silhouette de SUV d&rsquo;abord. On ne s&rsquo;y fait peut-être pas pour une Mazda dont le patronyme commence par MX et <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/essai-mazda-mx-5-30eme-anniversaire-orange-pressee-a-la-ligne-pulpeuse-49814/">nous habitue depuis trois décennies à vivre au ras du sol</a>, mais soit. Le style n&rsquo;est pas si rond ou lissé que sur <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/essais/essai-mazda3-2-0-skyactiv-g-m-hybrid-122-ch-inspiration-auto-zoom-zoom-zen-32230/">une Mazda3</a>, il se fait même anguleux et massif. Mais le tout est original et apporte un vent d&rsquo;inédit. Inédites, les portières antagonistes ne le sont pas : la Mazda RX-8 nous y avait habitués dans les années 2000 !</p>



<p>Pour autant, côté technologies, ce n&rsquo;est pas le moteur rotatif de cette dernière mais une unité électrique qui est au programme : batterie 35,5 kWh de capacité moyenne (une <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/essai-peugeot-e-208-electrique-le-choix-de-la-raison-44275/">Peugeot e-208</a> est à 50 kWh) pour une autonome de 200 km (400 km pour une Renault Zoé). De quoi la cantonner à un usage urbain/péri-urbain sans pour autant contenir le prix, car la série de lancement First Edition monte à 34 400 euros&#8230; même en étant toutes options. <br><a href="https://www.caradisiac.com/auto--mazda/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"></a></p>



<p>Curieuse, la MX-30 l&rsquo;est aussi à bord avec des teintes claires, des lignes très horizontales <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/honda-e-2019-le-modele-de-serie-presente-40248/">façon Honda e</a>, une console suspendue comme naguère chez Volvo, et des insertions de bois faiblement vernis. Une combinaison qui nous rappelle, sur le papier, l&rsquo;ambition d&rsquo;une BMW i3, novatrice dans sa structure et ses matériaux, même si la MX-30 ne recourt ni à la fibre de carbone ni à un gabarit sub-compact -elle monte à 4,40 m en longueur. Dès lors, inclassable cette MX-30 ? C&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;on a toujours dit des véhicules qui inventaient leur segment&#8230; Alors qui sait, peut-être sommes-nous en face du premier modèle d&rsquo;un nouveau type, ou d&rsquo;un curieux produit unique en son genre !</p>
