<p><em>La Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy-R s&rsquo;expose pour la première fois au public français à l&rsquo;Atelier Renault sur l&rsquo;avenue des Champs-Elysées. <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/74010-nouveau-record-pour-la-renault-megane-r-s-trophy-r-sur-la-nordschleife/"><strong>Trois mois après son nouveau record au Nürburgring</strong></a>, quelques semaines après celui décroché à Spa Francorchamps, la traction la plus rapide du monde n&rsquo;avait été vue qu&rsquo;au Grand Prix de Monaco et au Festival of Speed de Goodwood. Il est donc temps de découvrir en détails la nouvelle fusée du Losange !</em></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy-R : tout est dans les détails !</h2>



<p>La version la plus radicale -à l&rsquo;heure actuelle!- de la Mégane R.S. est arrivée, deux après le lancement des versions « normales » et Trophy. Elle s&rsquo;appelle, comme la précédente génération, Trophy-R, se base sur la définition la plus puissante -1,8 l Turbo 300 ch et 400 Nm- tout en allégeant au maximum sa base. Exit les quatres roues directrices 4 Control, exit la boîte EDC bien sûr, et exit la banquette arrière : c&rsquo;est la configuration dans les grandes lignes de la Trophy-R par rapport à une Trophy châssis Cup classique. </p>

<p>Dans le détail, Renault Sport a optimisé la Mégane R.S. dans tous ses compartiments. En aérodynamique d&rsquo;abord, avec une prise d&rsquo;air NACA sur le capot lui même en composite carbone et fibre de verre, les écopes de freins élargies et l&rsquo;arrivée d&rsquo;un diffuseur carbone (qui offre deux fois plus d&rsquo;appui qu&rsquo;avant). En liaisons au sol ensuite avec un train avant à contre-carrossage augmenté, des amortisseurs Öhlins réglables spécifiques (20 positions), des enveloppes Bridgestone Potenza S007 spécifiques à Renault Sport, et un train arrière allégé en H. En poids enfin avec, sans options, 130 kg gagnés (1306 kg au total), via notamment les éléments pré-indiqués et une ligne Akrapovic en titane. Au total, 500 exemplaires numérotés seront produits avant fin 2019 parmi lesquels 470 unités à un tarif de 55 000 euros.</p>



<p>Cependant, ce n&rsquo;est pas « tout ». Renault Sport est allé encore plus loin dans l&rsquo;optimisation de son bolide et la propose à seulement 30 exemplaires. C&rsquo;est ce modèle qui a battu le record du Nürburgring et qui est exposé à l&rsquo;Atelier Renault. Son prix bat lui aussi des records : équipée d&rsquo;un pack « Carbone-céramique » à 25 000 euros, la Mégane R.S. Trophy-R grimpe à 80 000 euros (hors éventuel malus). </p>

<p>Ces options rendent la voiture encore plus radicale : jantes en fibre de carbone comme une Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive, disques de freins Brembo carbone-céramique rejoignent alors la partie, au même titre qu&rsquo;une batterie au lithium, une prise d&rsquo;air dynamique avec disparition des LEDs en drapeau. Les seules roues carbone additionnelles font gagner 8 kg et réclameraient déjà, en option, 15 000 euros, et se rangent en lieu et place de la banquette.</p>



<p>On remarquera qu&rsquo;à bord sportivité et simplicité se laissent chacun une place. Ainsi, l&rsquo;écran tactile est en version « réduite » 7 pouces, tandis que les sièges sont désormais des baquets Sabelt recouverts d&rsquo;Alcantara (15,6 kg chacun) avec harnais 6 points. Le vitrage est allégé lui aussi tandis que le volant est nappé d&rsquo;Alcantara et doté d&rsquo;un point milieu rouge. Ainsi pourvue, la Mégane R.S. Trophy-R va 2 km/h plus vite (à 262 km/h en pointe) mais surtout gagne 0,4 secondes au 0 à 100 km/h (5,4 secondes) et 0,3 secondes au kilomètre départ arrêté (24,5 secondes). </p>

<p><em>On s&rsquo;y attendait mais c&rsquo;est maintenant officiel : avec 7&rsquo;40&Prime;10, la Mégane R.S. Trophy-R reprend son titre de compacte traction la plus rapide du Nürburgring à la Honda Civic Type R, enregistrée à 7&rsquo;43&Prime;08. Un record réalisé le 5 avril dernier et filmé avec au volant, le pilote Laurent Hurgon. </em><br></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy-R : nouveau record !</h2>



<p>La précédente Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy-R avait été en 2014 la première traction à passer sous la barre des 8 minutes sur la boucle nord du Nürburgring, la Nordschleife en 7&rsquo;54&Prime;36 (pour un même tour de 20,6 km). La Mégane R.S. Trophy-R 2019 (son nom n&rsquo;est pas encore officiel) améliore encore la marque, avec 14 secondes de moins, et près de 3 secondes de mieux que la Honda Civic Type R qui depuis 2017 était la plus rapide dans cet exercice ! </p>

<p>Pour y arriver, une Mégane R.S. mijotée au régime de Renault Sport et de ses partenaires parmi lesquels Ohlins, Akrapovic, Bridgestone, Brembo ou encore Sabelt. Tous ont contribué à l&rsquo;allègement et l&rsquo;efficacité de la voiture, avec -dit-on- des jantes en fibre de carbone par exemple. On en saura davantage dans les prochains jours normalement. La vidéo permet dès à présent de constater que la Mégane pointe à 257 km/h, tandis que l&rsquo;on parle de 130 kg de masse gagnés grâce à l&rsquo;optimisation de la voiture qui a abandonné sa banquette et son 4-Control, comme<a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/bientot-une-renault-megane-r-s-trophy-r/"><strong> les photos espions le laissaient augurer</strong></a>. </p>
