Lorsque l&rsquo;on parle de compactes, tout le monde pense aux Renault Mégane, Peugeot 308 ou encore Volkswagen Golf. Mais nous, nous avons décidé de tester l’Infiniti Q30 Sport. C&rsquo;est une façon de sortir du rang et ne pas avoir la même auto que son voisin. Ce remix de la compacte allemande offre-t-il un bon résultat ? En route pour le découvrir.</em></p>

<h2 style="text-align: justify;">Esprit Mercedes, es-tu là&nbsp;?</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Peu de gens le savent, mais l&rsquo;Infiniti Q30 est basée sur la Mercedes-Benz Classe A. Cependant, peu de gens, également,&nbsp;connaissent l’existence de la Q30. Il faut dire que ce n’est pas vraiment une voiture que l&rsquo;on croise régulièrement sur la route. Alors pour bien comprendre le concept de notre modèle d’essai du jour, dites-vous que&nbsp;cette compacte n’est, ni plus ni moins, qu’une Classe A recarrossée pour rentrer dans les standards de la griffe de luxe de Nissan.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Les amateurs de la marque à l’Etoile ne mettront pas longtemps à retrouver de nombreuses pièces issues de leur marque fétiche&nbsp;: compteurs, sièges, volant, commandes de climatisation ou encore console de pavillon, tout est ici directement reconduit. Mais ce n’est là que la partie visible car châssis, moteur ou encore boîte de vitesses sont également empruntés à l’ancienne génération de Mercedes-Benz Classe A. Un partenariat plus que complet.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Depuis quelques années, Infiniti propose des voitures avec un style bien à lui. Loin des lignes acérées que l’on peut retrouver sur de nombreuses productions concurrentes récentes, la marque a décidé d’avoir une charte stylistique basée sur la fluidité. On retrouve un thème de « vague » sur la quasi-totalité de la voiture. Notre sentiment initial face au véhicule s&rsquo;est avéré plutôt mitigé d&rsquo;un point de vue style. Cependant, à force de la regarder, il faut avouer qu’elle à un charme non négligeable. L&rsquo;Infiniti Q30 Sport a par ailleurs beaucoup plu à la gent féminine, un constat fait à plusieurs reprises au gré des rencontres réalisées lors de l&rsquo;essai. C&rsquo;est principalement ce « côté différent », en comparaison de ce qui se fait habituellement, qui séduit.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Avec une large calandre reliant les phares en amande, de grosses jantes 19 pouces diamantées ou encore deux belles sorties d’échappement de couleur noir brillant, le style est à la fois chic, raffiné et un petit peu sportif. Notre regret ira cependant à l’imposant plastique chromé entourant la custode arrière. En plus d’être trop visible, il était clairement mal ajusté sur notre voiture d&rsquo;essai. C&rsquo;est dommage.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">A l’intérieur, la planche de bord reprend le même thème que l&rsquo;extérieur. Elle y intègre le combiné d’instrumentations Mercedes ainsi que l’écran. Infiniti a décidé d’utiliser une large casquette pour relier le tout. Au niveau de l’écran central, nous ne sommes pas très emballés par le traitement apporté, qui fait un petit peu plastique. Mais, au regard de l’intérieur vu dans sa globalité, cela passe plutôt bien. Gainé de simili cuir et agrémenté de coutures violettes, en rappel avec les sièges, l’ensemble reste plutôt bien fini et agréable à l’œil.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">A l’heure actuelle, pour se démarquer, les constructeurs usent du suréquipement quelle que soit la catégorie de voiture. On n&rsquo;est par exemple plus étonné de voir une Smart équipée d&rsquo;une caméra de recul. Mais une fois arrivé à un certain niveau de prix, cela semble logique, voire indispensable d’avoir une grande quantité de gadgets en tout genre. Si, dans l’absolu, la Q30 Sport est plutôt bien équipée et propose des options cohérentes, nous regretterons l’absence d’équipements pourtant indispensables aujourd&rsquo;hui. En effet, le régulateur de vitesse adaptatif, les capteurs d’angle mort ou encore&nbsp;<em>Car Pla</em>y et <em>Android Auto</em> sont aux abonnés absents. Dans la série des manques, il y a également le réglage en hauteur du siège passager. C&rsquo;est regrettable sur une auto de ce calibre et de ce budget, surtout quand le-dit siège est positionné plutôt haut.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Au milieu de ces défauts, il faut tout de même noter la présence d&rsquo;un système audio Bose de très bonne qualité, des phares full LED qui vous offrent un excellent éclairage, ou encore une belle sellerie simili cuir/suède.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Notre modèle étant d’origine allemande, il est difficile d&rsquo;obtenir une configuration exactement identique pour un modèle au tarif français. La fiche du véhicule annonce un prix de 46.030 € pour la version testée avec seulement trois options : la peinture métallisée, le pack city black<b>&nbsp;</b>(comprenant les jantes 19 », le toit vitré panoramique, les sièges sport chauffants, la caméra de recul et le garnissage des sièges simili cuir/suède avec surpiqûres violettes)&nbsp;et le système audio premium Bose. Cela nous donne un prix en parfaite adéquation avec son pedigree mais un petit peu haut vis-à-vis de la concurrence.</p>

Pour vérifier la traduction dans la réalité de ces données, nous avons pris la direction de la Bretagne. La voiture a donc été testée sur un gros trajet autoroutier mais également sur des petites routes de campagne pas forcement bien entretenues.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">La première impression a été l’étonnement face au silence intérieur : pas de bruit de roulage ni même de bruit de vent, c’est très agréable de se sentir comme dans un cocon pour attaquer 4 heures de route. Bien que chaussée en 19 pouces le confort de la Q30 Sport n’est également pas affecté, le travail des trains roulants (partagés avec Mercedes-Benz donc) a été mené d’une main de maître offrant un résultat à la hauteur de nos attentes, pour une voiture dans cette gamme de prix. Le train avant est très précis et la boîte de vitesses automatique à 7 rapports est très agréable. Dommage cependant qu’elle n’ait que deux modes de conduite (Eco et Sport), le mode Eco rendant l’ensemble un peu mou, et le mode Sport allant trop vite chercher des hauts régimes moteur pas forcement adaptés à la conduite d’un diesel.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sur route de campagne les 4 roues motrices sont un vrai régal, la voiture enchaîne les virages sans broncher et les pneus Goodyear accomplissent parfaitement leur travail pour se sentir en sécurité. Parfois, c’est même déconcertant car on se retrouve vite au-dessus des limitations de vitesses !</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Au terme de l’essai, après 1200 km passés au volant, l’ordinateur de bord nous annonce une consommation moyenne de 6,7 l/100 km. C&rsquo;est un peu élevé pour le gabarit de la voiture mais c&rsquo;est également en rapport avec le rythme de conduite et le poids des 4 roues motrices. Sur des trajets plus classiques et en jouant d’avantage avec le mode Eco, il sera aisé de descendre sous la barre des 6 l/100 km.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Si au fil de l’essai nous avons appris à apprécier son look original, nous restons toutefois un peu sur notre faim sur certains points. Une voiture de ce prix se doit de disposer d’un équipement vraiment complet et ce n’est ici pas le cas, même s’il ne faut pas oublier que la voiture commence à avoir à accuser un âge certain. Si Infiniti remet le couvert en s’appuyant sur la base technique de la nouvelle Classe A pour son futur modèle, le résultat sera sûrement bien plus probant et en phase avec les générations actuelles. Pour conclure succinctement, cette Infiniti Q30 Sport vise une clientèle qui veut sortir de l’ordinaire tout en se rassurant sur le côté «&nbsp;fiabilité allemande&nbsp;».</p>
