<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Toyota GR Yaris 2020 : un ovni !</h2>



<p>Les éléments donnés en introduction suffiraient à présenter la voiture, tant ils la différencient de presque toute la production actuelle. Une citadine 3 portes ? Mises à part les <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/photographie/les-10-000-tours-du-castellet-en-ford-fiesta-st-tour-dhonneur-6493/">Ford Fiesta</a>, Hyundai i20 ou encore Mini Cooper, les modèles à 3 ouvrants ont déserté les concessions. Un moteur de 261 ch dans une citadine ? Actuellement, seule la Mini John Cooper Works GP tient la comparaison (et va même au-delà, en proposant&#8230; 300 ch) ; Audi n&rsquo;ayant pas renouvelé sa S1. Néanmoins, la <strong>Toyota GR </strong><a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/la-nouvelle-toyota-yaris-2019-iv-est-la-45115/"><strong>Yaris</strong></a><strong> 2020</strong> est la seule aujourd&rsquo;hui à disposer de 4 roues motrices. Une caractéristique qui nous laissaient supposer, en décembre dernier, qu&rsquo;elle s&rsquo;appellerait <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/toyota-yaris-gr-4-3-portes-4-roues-motrices-49684/">Yaris GR-4</a>. C&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ailleurs ce qui était noté sur le modèle camouflé mis en avant par Toyota en guise de teaser !</p>

<p>Qu&rsquo;importe : la <strong>Toyota GR Yaris 2020</strong> (GR, pour <em>Gazoo Racing</em>, le département « sport » de la firme nipponne) impressionne. Par rapport à une Yaris « normale » , les ailes sont élargies, la bouche béante, et l&rsquo;extracteur accueille deux grosses sorties d&rsquo;échappement. Les jantes de 18 pouces finissent d&rsquo;achever le tableau. Si l&rsquo;intérieur est un peu plus discret, il présente malgré tout de très beaux sièges baquets. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Toyota GR Yaris 2020 : un 3 cylindres de 261 ch</h2>



<p class="has-text-align-left">Les aspects techniques sont forcément à énumérer : comme mentionné auparavant, la <strong>Toyota GR Yaris 2020</strong> abrite un nouveau moteur 1.6 3 cylindres essence, de 261 ch. Ce bloc (G16E-GTS pour les intimes) à injection directe est associé à une boîte de vitesse manuelle à 6 rapports. Selon Toyota, la <strong>GR Yaris 2020</strong> abat le 0 à 100 km/h en moins de 6 secondes et développe 360 Nm de couple. Le poids de la voiture est de 1280 kg : ce n&rsquo;est pas rien, pour une citadine, mais n&rsquo;oublions pas que la <strong>Toyota GR Yaris 2020</strong> dispose d&rsquo;une transmission intégrale. Le constructeur japonais est d&rsquo;ailleurs parvenu à alléger le poids de la voiture en utilisant, notamment, du plastique renforcé de fibre de carbone pour le toit. </p>

<p>Autre spécificité : la répartition du couple entre l&rsquo;avant et l&rsquo;arrière peut varier de 60/40 à 30/70 selon le mode choisi. De quoi permettre quelques drifts ! Deux différentiels à glissement limités (l&rsquo;un devant, l&rsquo;autre derrière) peuvent même être disponibles en option. Des caractéristiques qui rendent unique cette citadine de 3,99 m de long. Reste à en connaître le prix : au Japon, la <strong>Toyota GR Yaris 2020</strong> est facturée 3,96 millions de yens en « RZ First Edition » (une édition spéciale, qui porte la puissance du moteur à 272 ch), soit environ 32 500 €. La note pourrait être plus salée chez nous d&rsquo;autant qu&rsquo;il faudra y ajouter le malus.</p>
