<p><em>La Seat El-Born est de retour en public après <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/live-geneve-2019-seat-el-born-concept/">le Salon de Genève</a>. Cette étude de style, qui a tout d&rsquo;une voiture de série, annonce ni plus ni moins que la version Seat de la Volkswagen ID.3.</em></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Seat El-Born : El Retour</h2>



<p>La naissance de la Seat El Born se poursuit. Son nom est aussi prémonitoire de sa source d&rsquo;énergie puisque pour rouler, elle devra se brancher comme toute électrique sur cette planète. L&rsquo;on pourra ainsi dire de cette Seat qu&rsquo;elle borne. Il s&rsquo;agira du second modèle « electric » de Seat après la Mii du même nom, et il viendra s&rsquo;intercaler entre une Ibiza et une Leon (4,33 m tout de même), de même qu&rsquo;une ID.3 est entre une Polo et une Golf. </p>



<p>On remarque la face avant « façon Tesla Model 3 » avec une absence de calandre compensé par un pli de carrosserie, habillé ici de petits « V » qui signent aussi la custode arrière. Le profil « monospaciant » avec pare-brise trois dimensions est repris de l&rsquo;ID.3, de même que l&rsquo;arrière très carré et massif pensé pour réduire la traînée aérodynamique. Le partage d&rsquo;organes continue à bord, où comme à l&rsquo;extérieur et -à terme- dans la plateforme MEB et la motorisation électrique, les idées de l&rsquo;ID.3 sont là (commutateur marche avant-neutre-marche arrière au tableau bord façon satellite, grand écran 9 pouces avec interface vocale, rangements abondants en console centrale). Seuls les aérateurs ont une forme qui leur est propre.</p>



<p>Alors bien sûr, rien de très nouveau par rapport à Genève si ce n&rsquo;est que cette fois, sa cousine ID.3 est prête à être produite à Zwickau. La naissance (commerciale) de l&rsquo;El Born pourrait donc s&rsquo;annoncer pour dès le début 2020, pour une commercialisation en fin d&rsquo;année. Le moteur devrait atteindre les 204 ch pour une autonomie 50 kWh de 420 km.</p>
