<p>Vous attendiez une bonne nouvelle&nbsp;? Dommage pour vous,
on va vous en annoncer une mauvaise. La quatrième génération de Ford Focus n’aura
pas droit à sa déclinaison supersportive RS qui a jusqu’ici fait la renommée
des trois premières de la lignée. On vous explique pourquoi. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ford Focus RS 2021&nbsp;: on oublie…</h2>



<p>Les voitures un peu excentriques auront la vie dure entre le
CO2 et le Covid-19… Les budgets R&amp;D des constructeurs sont souvent réduits
ou regardés de près par les comptables&nbsp;: on a connu des époques bien plus
heureuses en termes de croissance économique&nbsp;! Et alors que l’on pensait
encore en début d’année qu’une future Focus RS serait de retour avec une forme
ou une autre d’hybridation légère, un communiqué de Ford a douché nos espoirs. </p>

<p>Ca sera non pour la quatrième génération de Focus qui devra
se contenter de la version ST pour jouer aux sportives. Le coût de
développement d’une Ford Focus RS électrifiée étant trop important en cette
période pour espérer un quelconque retour sur investissement en ces temps de
crise sanitaire et de durcissement des normes en termes d’émission de CO2.</p>
