<p>Quel avenir pour Opel ? La question n&rsquo;est ni philosophique ni mesquine, mais elle se pose tant les constructeurs généralistes sont désormais tiraillés entre faire du volume à bas-prix, ou se pousser le col et hausser les tarifs pour se prétendre premium. Chez Stellantis, la première voie est suivie par Citroën et Fiat, la seconde par Peugeot, et elle devient de plus en plus encombrée. Alors pour Opel, le défi est plus grand encore : préparer son avenir en trouvant une troisième voie !</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Opel Experimental, quand l&rsquo;éclair donne sa vision du futur </h2>



<p>Cette troisième voie, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;Opel Experimental, un SUV coupé à silhouette basse, façon Peugeot 408 mais en plus athlétique et racé encore. Le changement est dans la continuité sur le style avec une nouvelle interprétation du Vizor qui arbore le nouveau logo « Blitz » de la marque, plus anguleux. Et surtout, le nom Experimental est un clin d&rsquo;oeil au passé, quand Opel avait dès 1965 dévoilé son premier concept-car.</p>

<p>C&rsquo;est donc dans le détail que l&rsquo;Experimental annonce l&rsquo;avenir : comme pour DS et ses Aero Sport Lounge, le futur ne sera plus aux SUV mais aux silhouettes basses avec forte garde au sol. La partie arrière, fuyante et bicolore, montre un nouveau langage pour le vitrage après les chromes des Adam et Astra K, et les lignes tendues de la dernière Astra L. Les jantes à trois blocs rappellent celles de la Peugeot 408, et s&rsquo;inscrivent dans la tendance des roues actuelles aux formes anguleuses (Scénic, Oli etc.)</p>

<p>Même si ce n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;une maquette semi-pleine, l&rsquo;intérieur est annoncé tapissé de matériaux durables et recyclés, avec des sièges à la structure ergonomique comme de coutume chez la marque. On espère les suspensions efficaces avec ces roues de 23 pouces !</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Une Opel Experimental ou experi&#8230; Manta ?</h2>



<p>C&rsquo;est toute la question : même avant-gardiste, la silhouette de l&rsquo;Experimental reste réaliste. De là à passer en production il n&rsquo;y a qu&rsquo;un pas, que devrait franchir la future Opel Manta en 2025, sur une base STLA Medium tout électrique et analogue aux futures DS ASL. </p>

<p><em>Tous les deux ans, les équipes du Design Studio de DS présentent un concept-car et après l&rsquo;E-Tense et la X E-Tense respectivement en 2016 et 2018, voici en 2020 la DS Aero Sport Lounge ! Et s&rsquo;il on pouvait attendre un showcar de la prochaine DS 4, il n&rsquo;en est finalement rien puisque le DS Aero Sport Lounge est une véritable étude de style futuriste !</em></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">DS Aero Sport Lounge : le SUV ultime imaginé par DS</h2>



<p>La silhouette de ce nouveau concept-car DS Aero Sport Lounge est un SUV qui, signe du temps, est 100 % électrique. Très long -5 mètres-, il domine toute la gamme actuelle y compris les DS 7 Crossback et <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/nouvelle-ds-9-la-grande-berline-ds-automobiles-est-avancee-55851/">la dernière berline DS 9</a>. Surtout, il présente les nouveaux codes du design DS avec des lignes plus franches et acérées, une calandre repensée et une silhouette inédite pour la marque. Ainsi, les équipes de Thierry Metroz présentent leur vision de ce que sera le prochain haut-de-gamme automobile post-SUV.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">680 ch, 650 km d&rsquo;autonomie</h2>



<p>Totalement électrique, le DS Aero Sport Lounge embarque une batterie de 110 kWh pour atteindre 650 km d&rsquo;autonomie maximum. Avec ses 680 c h, il franchit le 0 à 100 km/h en 2,8 secondes, un dixième de mieux qu&rsquo;une Lamborghini Aventador ! Silhouette basse, avec une faible garde-au-toit, l&rsquo;Aero Sport Lounge n&rsquo;en perd pour autant la garde-au-sol, élevée, avec des roues de 23 pouces. Les optiques sont effilées à l&rsquo;avant, se fondent dans la carrosserie à l&rsquo;arrière, et la carrosserie est bicolore dès la calandre. Le « E » de E-Tense vient signer les flancs, rappelant que l&rsquo;Aero Sport Lounge est électrique.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">La calandre disparaît auprofit d&rsquo;un écran sur le concept DS Aero Sport Lounge</h2>



<p>Futuriste, l&rsquo;étude de style l&rsquo;est au bout de sa calandre, remplacée par une dalle vitrée en composite qui scannent la route et « alimentent les calculateurs en téraoctets d&rsquo;informations » d&rsquo;après DS, dont le logo apparaît toujours au premier plan chromé. A bord, la part belle au luxe est donnée avec de la paille ! Oui oui, comme les plumes du X-E-Tense voilà deux ans, c&rsquo;est un nouveau matériau qui fait sensation, ici doté d&rsquo;un vernis en silice naturel fourni par l&rsquo;atelier parisien Lison de Caunes, sur des sièges avec mousse haute densité. Les écrans sont encore bien présents avec des dalles intégrées dotée de capteurs à ultrasons. L&rsquo;ensemble est piloté par IRIS, l&rsquo;intelligence artificielle présentée par DS il y a deux ans.</p>



<p>C&rsquo;est une étude de style à découvrir donc sur le stand DS Automobiles du salon de Genève et un jour peut-être, dans la rue, dans certaines de ses lignes, dans le futur. Des lignes qui rappellent que l&rsquo;an passé, DS présentait une maquette abandonnée, le Code X, finalement proche de cet Aero Sport Lounge (bicolorisme, sihouette de E-SUV). quant au patronyme, il évoque la grande heure des études de style de Jean-Pierre Ploué tel le C-Sportlounge. Un SUV qui donna à l&rsquo;époque naissance à la DS 5, premier modèle DS en 2015. Finalement, la boucle est bouclée !</p>
