<p><em>La Dendrobium D- 1 est une hypercar imaginée par une start-up basée à Singapour, Vanda Electrics. Aux dernières 24 Heures du Mans était exposé le prototype D-1 XP2 devant l&rsquo;hospitalité de Michelin. Sa couleur verte autant que ses portes ouvertes telles des ailes d&rsquo;oiseaux ne laissent pas indifférent, et on pourrait la retrouver dans quelques années sur la piste Mancelle.</em></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Dendrobium D-1 : bientôt en championnat Hypercar ?</h2>



<p>Avec le règlement Hypercar pensé par l&rsquo;ACO, la Dendrobium D-1 pourrait parfaitement s&rsquo;engager en piste. Pensée pour être électrique ou hybride dès l&rsquo;origine, elle n&rsquo;a plus guère besoin que d&rsquo;être adaptée à un usage intensif sur piste, et ce dès l&rsquo;horizon 2020/2021. Un sacré bout de chemin pour un projet qui était à l&rsquo;état de maquette à Genève en 2017. </p>



<p>Entre temps, la voiture a vu son aérodynamique impressionnante développée en partie par Peter Stevens, l&rsquo;un des pères de la McLaren F1,. Ses pneus sont des Michelin inédits (Pilot Sport Cup 2R). Malgré ses batteries, la Dendrobium D-1 ne pèse que 1750 kg grâce à l&rsquo;usage massif de fibre de carbone. Sous le capot arrière, le moteur électrique développe 1800 ch et 2400 Nm de couple pour abattre le 0 à 100 km/h en environ 2 secondes&#8230; Mais c&rsquo;est loin toutefois de la réglementation Hypercar (1100 kg / 750 ch max).</p>



<p>Avec un volume de production de 50 unités par an, la Dendrobium D-1 restera rare, très rare. D&rsquo;autant qu&rsquo;à 1 million de livres hors taxe, elle réclamera un certain effort financier. D&rsquo;ici là, la technologie aura peut-être évolué et l&rsquo;actuelle autonomie (450 km) comme la V-Max (340 km/h) auront encore cru.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">La Dendrobium D-1 XP2 aux 24 Heures du Mans 2019</h2>
