<p><em>L&rsquo;électrification de la gamme Citroën commence en 2020 avec l&rsquo;arrivée du C5 Aircross Hybrid. A l&rsquo;image de ses cousins Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 et Opel GrandlandX Hybrid4, c&rsquo;est grâce à la plateforme EMP2 que le Citroën se dote d&rsquo;une batterie et d&rsquo;un moteur électrique&#8230; A une différence près : il ne développe &lsquo;que&rsquo; 225 ch contre 300 ch et se limite à 2 roues motrices.</em></p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid, la première Citroën hybride de grande série</h2>



<p>Le C5 Aircross n&rsquo;est pas la première hybride de Citroën. Dans les années 90, les chevrons avaient expérimenté quelques systèmes : Dynalto, Dynavolt, Dynactive. Ce dernier était le plus prometteur (autonomie de 20 km en tout électrique, arrivée sur le marché peu après la Toyota Prius), et aussi le plus proche de la grande série en 2000. PSA se ravisa et préféra investir dans les Diesel à rampe commune HDi. Vingt ans plus tard, l&rsquo;heure de l&rsquo;hybride sonne enfin et plutôt que de l&rsquo;hybride « simple » (comme feu la DS 5 HYbrid4), c&rsquo;est un hybride rechargeable qui arrive.</p>



<p>Le nouveau C5 Aircross Hybrid coiffe donc la gamme du SUV familial Citroën : sur la base du bloc PureTech 180 ch essence, une unité électrique de 110 ch est ajoutée, pour une puissance cumulée max de 225 ch et 50 km d&rsquo;autonomie tout-électrique, via une batterie 13,2 kWh. Extérieurement, on remarque le nouveau venu à ses badges, des H avec tréma, à ses contours bleutés dans le pare-chocs, et à ses trappes : une de part et d&rsquo;autre, pour le carburant et pour le courant. Et&#8230; c&rsquo;est tout ! A bord, même discrétion car l&rsquo;habitacle est repris du C5 thermique, à l&rsquo;exception du rétroviseur intérieur doté d&rsquo;une loupiotte bleutée façon Taximètre, qui s&rsquo;allume lors des phases de roulage électrique. Le reste est inchangé : sièges avec mousses spécifiques Advanced Comfort, 3 sièges indépendants repliables au rang 2 et coffre de 720 litres.</p>



<p>Tarif d&rsquo;entrée du C5 Aircross Hybrid, 39 950 euros, à partir de l&rsquo;été. Aucune version plus pêchue à 300 ch n&rsquo;est a priori prévue, alors qu&rsquo;un tel niveau de puissance est proposé chez ses cousins DS 7 Crossback ou 3008 HYbrid4.</p>

A la clé, un SUV de segment C pour couvrir sa gamme dans « LE » segment où il faut être, avec une proposition audacieuse axée famille et confort. En bonus, l&rsquo;annonce de la version Hybride couronne cette présentation.</em></p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;">Le Citroën C5 Aircross se dévoile au Mondial de l&rsquo;Auto</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Dans sa « Maison Citroën », les chevrons dévoilaient le C5 Aircross. Enfin, dévoilaient, le mot est grand puisque la voiture est connue depuis le printemps 2017 et son dévoilement en Chine. Il s&rsquo;agit cette fois de la version européenne qui sera mise sur le marché en 2019. <p style="text-align: justify;">Pour cette version européenne, la différence majeure est la présence non pas d&rsquo;une banquette classique mais de trois sièges indépendants ! Un équipement qui, clairement, place le C5 Aircross en alternative et futur successeur du C5 SpaceTourer (ex-Picasso) à 5-places, sa variante à 7-places n&rsquo;étant pas menacée. Cette banquette, coulissante sur 15 cm et inclinable de 19 à 26,5°, est bien entendu repliable faisant passer la soute de 580/700 litres à 1630 litres.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A bord, le confort est élevé en valeur reine. Que ce soit par les mousses à densité différenciée des sièges, ou par les suspensions à butées hydrauliques progressives, le C5 Aircross se veut le plus confortable des SUV du marché. Le parti pris a le mérite de positionner cette chevronnée dans une « niche » marketing peut-être pas si anodine, considérant que les clients choisiront ce modèle en alternative ou en remplacement à un monospace compact.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Cerise sur le salon, la présence du C5 Aircross Hybrid. 2-roues motrices et totalisant 225 ch, ce showcar annonce la version de série prévue pour 2020. Ce sera le premier modèle hybride rechargeable de la marque, avec 50 km d&rsquo;autonomie jusqu&rsquo;à 135 km/h en « full électrique ».</p>
