<p>Vous aimez Fort Boyard ? BYD aussi : avec le Yangwang U8, la marque chinoise leader de l&rsquo;électrique au niveau mondial en 2023 se lance dans le « Toujours plus haut, toujours plus fort ». Car les dimensions du dernier-né sont énormes : 5,32 m pour 3,46 tonnes à vide ! </p>



<p>Pourtant, les chiffres sont trompeurs quand il s&rsquo;agit de parler de ses performances : le 0 à 100 Km /h est expédié en 3,6 secondes, la vitesse maximale est&#8230; automatiquement limitée à 200 km/h. Par quel miracle ? Par une chaîne de traction hybride rechargeable avec prolongateur d&rsquo;autonomie. En effet, le U8 cumule 4 moteurs électriques de 220 kW (soit 300 ch), qui combinés développent 880 kW (1200 ch) et un couple de 1280 Nm. </p>



<p>Cependant, en bonne hybride, son autonomie atteint les 1000 km lorsque batterie et réservoir (75 litres) sont pleins. Ce dernier alimente en effet un 4-Cylindres Turbo de 2,0 l de cylindrée qui sert de générateur électrique, apte à recharger trois fois la batterie de seulement 49 kWh. En tout-électrique seul, l&rsquo;autonomie ne dépasse pas les 180 km toutefois. </p>



<p>En plus des chiffres massifs, l&rsquo;U8 se distingue par un intérieur voulu extrêmement opulent, et même un équipement inédit pour dégager le véhicule de l&rsquo;eau : grâce à un contrôle hydraulique intelligent de l&rsquo;amortissement, la voiture oscille d&rsquo;une roue à l&rsquo;autre pour traverser des eaux de 2,5 mètres de profondeur, sans snorkel. Il peut aussi tourner sur lui même&#8230; et se maintenir à flot 30 minutes tout en avançant à 3 km/h. Un vrai modèle de débarquement ! </p>



<p>Peut-on faire plus que l&rsquo;U8 ? Manifestement oui puisque BYD compte bien dégainer sa première supercar, l&rsquo;U9 !</p>
