Et pour cause, il n’y a qu’un modèle. Mais quel modèle ! Et quand en plus il se présente au public avec quelques spécificités supplémentaires et une livrée bicolore rouge et carbone à tomber, on reste finalement plus longtemps que prévu.

Bugatti Chiron Sport. Parce que le modèle de base ne l’est finalement pas tant que ça…

Il faut avouer qu’ajouter une appellation Sport au nom Bugatti Chiron pourrait a priori sonner comme un pléonasme plein de redondance (ou l’inverse). Ce n’est pas comme si la Chiron « de base » ne proposait pas déjà un moteur W16 de 8 l de cylindrée boosté par 4 turbos et offrant la bagatelle de 1500 chevaux et 1600 Nm.

Et pourtant Bugatti a osé. Mais il faut quand même nuancer un peu le propos car cette nouvelle finition de l’hypercar de Molsheim ne doit pas son nom à une modification de la partie moteur. Seuls des modifications des éléments de liaisons au sol et une chasse au moindre gramme ont été véritablement entrepris. Avec un certain succès cependant car parvenir à retirer 18 kg sur cette Chiron reste une prouesse.

Pour le reste on notera la présence de deux sorties d’échappement supplémentaires ou la possibilité pour les clients d’accéder à un nouveau nuancier pour la carrosserie. Si vous avez 2,65 millions de côté cette Chiron sera vôtre d’ici la fin de l’année.
