<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato et DB4 GT Continuation : elles font la paire</h2>



<p>Alain Afflelou aurait-il inspiré la stratégie commerciale de la vénérable marque britannique ? Quand même pas car l&rsquo;idée de proposer un duo d&rsquo; « Aston Zagato » est avant tout un coup marketing plutôt qu&rsquo;un rabais commercial. Une offre « duo » à laquelle Aston Martin devient presque coutumière pour qui se souvient de l&rsquo;éphémère carrière de la citadine Cygnet (sinon, retrouvez <strong><a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/culture/curiosite-aston-martin-cygnet/">notre article ici </a></strong>!). Après la présentation récemment de la DB4 GT Zagato Continuation, un refabrication à 19 exemplaires du coupé pour fêter les 60 ans de la collaboration Zagato &#8211; Aston Martin, voici venir la version 2019 : la DBS GT. Qui, les dates sont bien faites, marque aussi&#8230; les 100 ans de Zagato ! </p>

<p>L&rsquo;Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato sera, comme la DB4 Continuation, limitée à 19 exemplaires. Elle est « moderne » cependant, dérivant de la DBS Superleggera actuelle, à savoir, V12 5,2 l bi-turbo de 725 ch et 900 Nm de couple&#8230; Des performances à comparer aux 6 cylindres 4,7 l de 390 ch de la DB4 GT avec boîte manuelle 4 rapports et différentiel à glissement limité. Le style en revanche est inédit, avec une gigantesque bouche-calandre à l&rsquo;avant, des feux cristal (certes inspirés de la Vanquish) et une ligne laissant entrevoir le célèbre double-bossage de pavillon cher à Zagato.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Aston Martin et Zagato : duo indissociable</h2>



<p>Dans l&rsquo;histoire d&rsquo;Aston Martin, Zagato occupe une place importante. Le carrossier italien aura su porter sa patte à de nombreuses reprises au style anglais. Après la DB4 GT (1960-1963), le carrossier a signé la V8 Zagato aux formes cubiques (1986-1990) puis est devenu particulièrement régulier à partir des années 2000. Ainsi ont vu le jour les DB7 Zagato (2002-2003), DB AR1 (2003-2004), V12 Vanquish Roadster (2004), V12 Zagato (2012) et Vanquish Zagato (2016), cette dernière ayant vu le jour en 4 carrosseries différentes. On n&rsquo;oubliera pas non plus les trois carrosseries (coupé, cabriolet et shooting brake) de la Zagato Centennial au design légèrement baroque. Et on remarquera l&rsquo;absence de contribution à une berline (ni Lagonda, ni Rapide chez Zagato)&#8230; et ça ne risque pas de changer puisque cette dernière court vers sa fin de carrière.</p>

<p>Le « lot » des DB4 et DBS GT, qu&rsquo;on n&rsquo;hésiterait presque pas à appeler œuvres d&rsquo;art tant leur style est travaillé, n&rsquo;a pour l&rsquo;heure pas de tarif connu. La DB4 GT avait été précédemment annoncée à 6 millions de livres (6,5 millions d&rsquo;euros). Et pas sûr que la DBS soit offerte sans supplément&#8230; de budget, ni d&rsquo;âme.</p>
