<p>C&rsquo;est une petite révolution : avec la nouvelle Charger, Dodge (l&rsquo;une des 14 marques du groupe <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/234847/carlos-tavares-accorde-10-ans-aux-marques-de-stellantis-pour-quelles-fassent-leurs-preuves/">Stellantis</a>) dévoile la première <em>muscle car</em> électrique. Cette Dodge Charger 2024 existera à la fois en 2 et 4 portes : elle remplacera donc simultanément la Challenger (2 portes) et la Charger (4 portes).</p>



<p>Deux modèles qui figuraient au catalogue de la firme américaine depuis respectivement 16 et 19 ans. Oui, vous avez bien lu : malgré diverses améliorations, notamment esthétiques, les actuelles Charger et Challenger étaient là depuis très, très longtemps. A vrai dire, ce sont deux modèles historiques de la gamme Dodge ; les toutes premières Charger et Challenger datant d&rsquo;il y a presque 60 ans.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Dodge Charger 2024 : la <em>muscle car</em> 2.0</h2>



<p>D&rsquo;ailleurs, sur le plan visuel, la recette ne change pas : la Dodge Charger 2024 s&rsquo;inspire de ses aînées, avec un style massif et musclé. Tout juste voit-on son regard s&rsquo;affiner à l&rsquo;avant&#8230; a contrario de sa longueur, qui elle, augmente encore : 5,25 mètres ! C&rsquo;est 15 centimètres de plus que l&rsquo;actuelle Charger et + 23 centimètres par rapport à la Challenger. Pas de doute, c&rsquo;est <em>l&rsquo;Amérique</em> ! Mais avec un nouveau logo Dodge en prime.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-center"><em>L&#8217;empattement (distance entre les roues) est de 3,03 mètres : cela devrait garantir une belle habitabilité à bord. D&rsquo;autant que cette Dodge Charger 2024 est aussi très large (2,02 mètres).</em></p>



<p>A l&rsquo;intérieur, la planche de bord est chamboulée. <p>Parmi les points notables : le volume du coffre (644 litres ! Auxquels s&rsquo;ajoutent 42 litres sous le capot avant sur la version électrique), les 3 places à l&rsquo;arrière et les 64 possibilités de personnalisation promises par Dodge à l&rsquo;intérieur.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Dodge Charger 2024 : toujours disponible en thermique</h2>



<p>Le lancement de cette Dodge Charger 2024 est prévu pour le second semestre, du moins aux Etats-Unis. Une arrivée en Europe n&rsquo;est pas à exclure, Stellantis ayant annoncé le retour de la marque sur le Vieux Continent avec des modèles 100 % électriques. Pour l&rsquo;instant, cependant, rien n&rsquo;a été officialisé. </p>



<p>Ce dont nous sommes sûrs, c&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;il faudra attendre 2025 pour voir apparaître (aux US toujours) la version 4 portes de la Charger et ses versions thermiques. Le V8, cher aux adorateurs de Dodge, sera abandonné : il sera remplacé par le six-cylindres en ligne « Hurricane », déjà connu chez Jeep et RAM. Dodge promet cependant des performances encore meilleures que celles de feu la Charger V8.</p>

<p>La Dodge Charger 2024 équipée du moteur « Hurricane » sera baptisée&#8230; « Sixpack ». Elle sera déclinée en deux versions : une première développant 420 ch (chargée, sans mauvais jeu de mots, de remplacer la Charger 5.7 Hemi V8 de 375 ch) et une seconde culminant à 550 ch (Charger Sixpack H.O.) pour remplacer la Charger 6.4 Hemi V8 qui développait 65 ch de moins.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Dodge Charger 2024 : deux versions 100 % électrique</h2>



<p>Dans l&rsquo;immédiat, Dodge communique surtout sur la Charger électrique, basée (comme la thermique) sur la plateforme STLA large de Stellantis. En « entrée de gamme », il y aura la Charger Daytona R/T, forte tout de même de 456 ch (496 ch, même, grâce à un <em>overboost</em> temporaire) et 548 Nm de couple. La Dodge Charger 2024 Daytona R/T est censée abattre le 0 à 100 km/h en moins de 5 secondes : pas mal, lorsque l&rsquo;on sait que l&rsquo;auto pèse plus de 2,6 tonnes !</p>



<p>La Charger Daytona Scat Pack fait encore mieux : 630 ch (670 ch en <em>overboost</em>), 850 Nm de couple et 3,3 secondes pour atteindre les 100 km/h. Les R/T et Scat Pack possèdent en tout cas la même batterie (d&rsquo;une capacité de 100 kWh) et reçoivent une architecture 400 V, permettant de recharger au maximum en 183 kW et d&rsquo;ainsi passer de 5 à 80 % d&rsquo;autonomie en un peu plus de 30 minutes.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-center"><em>Si la Dodge Charger 2024 Daytona Scat Pack est déjà forte de 630 ch, d&rsquo;autres versions encore plus puissantes viendront. Il se murmure qu&rsquo;une version « Banshee » de près de 900 ch, dotée de deux moteurs électriques, arriverait bientôt.</em></p>



<p>L&rsquo;autonomie, justement, s&rsquo;élève à 510 km selon Dodge sur la version R/T et 418 km sur la Scat Pack.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Dodge Charger 2024 : des options délirantes</h2>



<p>En <a href="https://www.dodge.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dodge</a> qui se respecte, la Dodge Charger 2024 offre, en plus d&rsquo;une sacrée puissance, des modes de conduite amusants. Outre les classiques Auto, Eco, Sport, Wet/Snow et Track, elle peut disposer d&rsquo;un&#8230; mode « Donut » et d&rsquo;un mode « Drift », disponibles sur la version Scat Pack.</p>



<p>Dodge devrait également proposer des kits, comme à l&rsquo;accoutumée, pour permettre aux acheteurs de la Dodge Charger 2024 électrique d&rsquo;augmenter encore la puissance de leur voiture. Acheteurs qui pourront aussi, lors du bon d&rsquo;achat, cocher la case « <em>Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust</em> » pour que leur Charger fasse autant de bruit qu&rsquo;une ancienne Charger V8. Un système (évidemment, artificiel) déjà vu sur la nouvelle <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/264022/live-bruxelles-2023-abarth-500e/">Abarth 500e</a>, autre modèle de la galaxie Stellantis.</p>



<p>Aucun prix n&rsquo;a pour l&rsquo;instant été communiqué. Nos confrères de <em>Carscoops</em> tablent sur 50 000 dollars pour la R/T et 60 000 dollars pour la Scat Pack. Cela nous paraît un peu optimiste, même en dollars !</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Lotus Eletre&nbsp;: un SUV de plus de 5 mètres</strong></h2>



<p>Lamborghini a son Urus, Ferrari aura bientôt son <em>Purosangue</em> et Lotus son Eletre. Non pas que Lotus joue dans la même cour que Lamborghini et Ferrari, mais il n’empêche que comme chez ces deux-là, voir un SUV dans la gamme de la marque anglaise peut revêtir, pour les puristes, du crime de lèse-majesté.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-center"><em>Le Lotus Eletre affiche un design moderne mais surtout, très agressif.</em></p>



<p>Et ce n’est pas un petit SUV que Lotus nous présente là&nbsp;: l’Eletre mesure 5,10 m. C’est pile la taille d’un Lamborghini Urus, justement. C’est aussi 7 centimètres de plus qu’un Tesla Model X et même 15 de plus qu’un <a href="https://lenouvelautomobiliste.fr/actualites/220261/bmw-ix-helice-electrique/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BMW iX</a>. La largeur impressionne tout autant (2,13 m), et si la hauteur (1,63 m), reste relativement modeste pour un SUV, elle est évidemment bien plus élevée que celles des autres productions Lotus. Indépendamment de ses mensurations, l’Eletre confirme les ambitions d’électrification du constructeur d’Outre-Manche&nbsp;: après lui, trois autres modèles 100 % électriques suivront d’ici 2026 (et ce ne seront pas des SUV&nbsp;!).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Lotus Eletre&nbsp;: 600 ch, et moins de 3 secondes pour abattre le 0 à 100 km/h</strong></h2>



<p>Hyper-SUV de par sa taille, la Lotus Eletre l’est aussi sur sa fiche technique&nbsp;: ses deux moteurs électriques (un sur chaque essieu) développent la bagatelle de 600 ch. De quoi permettre à l’Eletre d’atteindre une vitesse de pointe de 260 km/h et d’abattre le 0 à 100 km/h en moins de 3 secondes.</p>

<p><br><br>Sa batterie, d’une capacité de plus de 100&nbsp;kWh, devrait lui offrir une autonomie d’environ 600 km selon Lotus. Mais l’Eletre profitera surtout des avancées de Geely (groupe chinois propriétaire de Lotus) en matière de véhicules électriques et de recharge&nbsp;: «&nbsp;l’hyper-SUV&nbsp;» recevra effectivement une architecture 800&nbsp;volts qui le rendra «&nbsp;compatible&nbsp;» à la recharge ultra-rapide de 350&nbsp;kW (encore discrètes, les bornes de recharge rapide tendent toutefois à se développer en France, notamment sur les grands axes). Le Lotus Eletre pourrait ainsi, théoriquement, récupérer 400&nbsp;kilomètres d&rsquo;autonomie en 20&nbsp;minutes.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Lotus Eletre&nbsp;: techno-parade</strong></h2>



<p>Outre les rétroviseurs caméra, le <a href="https://www.lotuscars.com/sv-SE/" data-type="URL" data-id="https://www.lotuscars.com/sv-SE/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lotus</a> Eletre se paye le luxe de disposer d’un écran tactile OLED (rendant notamment les noirs plus profonds) de 15 pouces au centre de sa planche de bord. Toujours en termes d’équipements, il y aura un affichage tête-haute à réalité augmentée, un chargeur à induction pouvant accueillir deux téléphones ou encore 15 haut-parleurs disséminés dans l’habitacle.</p>

<p>C’est un fait&nbsp;: nous sommes loin, très loin des Lotus Elise ou Exige. Il restera à voir si cet impressionnant (tout de même&nbsp;!) Eletre attisera la curiosité ou le rejet lors de sa commercialisation fin 2022. Aucune indication n’a été pour l’instant donnée sur son prix, mais notre petit doigt nous dit qu’il devrait… «&nbsp;coûter bonbon&nbsp;»&nbsp;(et largement dépasser les 100&nbsp;000 euros)&nbsp;!</p>
